What a great place. The food is so tasty and beyond reasonably priced. The brisket taco was phenomenal. I will definitely be stopping by before we leave. Our server, Raquel was awesome and just good people. The cashier was also so sweet and beyond accommodating. Offered to take our photo and just talked to us like we were regulars. Danny Trejo is doing something that should be followed by more actors. Down to earth, not trying to bank off his name. Giving quality food at reasonable prices while making you feel like you’re part of something. Thank you for a wonderful meal, can’t wait to come back.

Drinks were fantastic! Staff was nice enough and the food actually surprised with complex flavor! Above and beyond what I expected out of a place I came too just because of my love of danny trejo! I might just have to give the other spots a try while in in town!
Great Place to have mexican food and drinks / cocktails just off Hollywood Boulevard. I recommend the nachos as starter anf then the fried chicken bowl - don't forget to order Guscamole. Parking available.

Like walking into a party bartender was really cool and greeted me places epic scenic, and immediately we made like friends. I was greeted with the menu, a smile and I was ready to rock ‘n’ roll, but I had to order the steak out a pole with regular rice I continue to enjoy the music and take everything in this place is a lot of fun but you wanna enjoy yourself even without the alcohol. This is the place you’re gonna come to I love it. I can tell the people that work here really enjoy it and everybody’s having a great time!!
Gonna tell you right now the steak bowl is amazing. I added some of the Trejo hot sauce and I threw on some sour cream and I know a lot of people would be asking why would you eat something up just to cool it down?
Well, I’m a complicated person but when it comes to simply enjoying great food I picked the right place today.
I can’t believe how much fun I’m having Jeremy the bartender is great. The rest of the staff is a lot of fun too…

Wow what a fantastic Mexican Restaurant. Walked past and thought we would give it a try . Best service I have received and the food was both tasty and well presented. Not an empty seat in the house which also indicted it was a local favourite.
I've never had BETTER tacos! I drove across the country and was not disappointed. I can't wait to come back. I wish he'd open them in other states! The guacamole is so fresh it's almost unreal.
Super quick service once we ordered, priced moderately. Quality food and great atmosphere, even bought a bottle of the sauce for home. Margaritas were good.
Very special place, from the first moment you step in the restaurant. You are welcomed by a very cozy ambiance, thanks to a unique setup of modern paper sculptures,
Canvas and Portraits of Trejo. Menu offers a number of delicious Mexican food, from nachos, to burritos, tacos and churros to finish. We went for a mix of them, and were very satisfied. We were there for lunch (no need to book even if it was Sunday) and did not drink beer, but the bar serves an incredible number of beers of any sort. Place is also offering own merchandise inspired from Trejo. Definitely recommended for a quick bite or an easy lunch/dinner.
No complaints from me. Food was good, service was even better. Restrooms were pretty cool with images of roles Trejo has been in. We got the la Diabla, carnitas and carne asada nachos.
I only came for the restroom, so I got the margarita flight. 3 drinks 3 of us. Perfect. We loved it. I recommend trying all the flavors!
Didn't get pics of the delicious tacos that my companions had. But they raved about great the flavors are. The meat is greatly seasoned.
Great service. There was confusion, and it was corrected so easily. I didn't even know it was too late. Our server always had a smile and was always pleasant. Great service always brings people back! Can't wait to go again!!
I walked from his coffee and donut shop to his taco cantina after noticing the coffee spot on my way to an interview and had to u-turn following it to actually visit. Both locations were great.
The server was very friendly and helped me situate myself somewhere else when I needed to charge my phone. They have gluten-free and dairy-free options in one, I got the pork tacos. I’m usually not a big fan of pork, probably should have went with chicken. However, the hot sauce was amazing. I bought a bottle. I wish I could afford to eat like that all the time.
Wed 18 Oct I was only at the bar 6:46-7:15 pm as i had the Macklemore show to catch. $35 dinner set menu for Dine LA Restaurant Week was a deal.

I absolutely loved the street corn appetizer and the tacos (carne asada & beef barbacoa). It was so flavorful and each taco had their own unique flavors. The street corn appetizer was a mix of sweet, savory, sour deliciousness. The first bite was like a bomb of flavor in your mouth.
This was my 1st visit to Danny's restaurant. An amazing visit! Awesome atmosphere! We were seated inside, but an open air wall allowed us a view to the outdoor dining area.
The food was top notch, the service was great. We all had the Taco Combo plates, along with street corn, chips and salsa. The salsa is to die for!
I am from Montana, so I also bought a Trejo's Cantina T-shirt!
I can check this Taco restaurant off my bucket list, but you can bet..."I'll be back!'

We did a visit to the museum of death and saw Trejo’s, we already wanted to visit this but didn’t knew it was across the museum. The food was good, the beer was good and the vibe was good. We like it quiet, was around 4pm.
The restaurant is beautiful! Super cool! Colors, furniture, bar all of it nailed! Very well designed!
The food is one of the most tasty Mexican I've ever had.
Unfortunately we were a little bit late and we had to take it away because the restaurant was closing. FYI if you want to sit you have to go one hour and a half before.
Also I would have loved to have a drink but the bar was closed already. We arrived 9:20 PM and the restaurant closes 10 PM.
It's a nice place to have a decent mexican taste. Recommended, but they should work with their personal, they could be friendly and not in a rush. As a new consumer sometimes hearing recommendations could be a good idea. I was expecting more from this place.
