A fine Mexican restaurant. I ordered the Chile Verde burrito plate and was not disappointed. The restaurant well maintained with an excellent salsa bar and plenty of parking. I would definitely visit again.

I love this place since the early 80's. They remodeled the place and it is very pretty. Much roomier too! The salsa bar is on a better location too. I was very pleased with the improvements. I love this waiter that has been there for many years and he treats me so warmly. My friends ALL love La Fogata. I have taken a lot of people there and they all agree that it is a good Mexican restaurant. I wish them continuous success. They deserve it.

My girl said she’s been going here for years and hyped it up quite a bit for my first time. It definitely lived up to the hype. I had the taco salad with shredded chicken, chips and salsa (of course!) and guacamole. Yummmmmm!!

Been dining/doing take out from here since the 80's when I lived in North Hollywood. Was the place to dine at in junior high, high school, and beyond. A neighborhood staple and local favorite. Food doesn't disappoint. Decor is original, place has been here forever. On weekends there's always a line out the door. I would recommend "Fog Hat" to a friend. Happiness 😊

Great selection of food. For the most part, majority of dishes are good. It is a casual and quaint ambiance. The outdoor seating is spacious with high ceiling and lighting. They serve alcoholic beverages that go well with any of their meals. And the service, overall good. I enjoy frequenting this restaurant. One if the better Mexican restaurants in the Valley. There are plenty of Mexican restaurants, but not as good as this place.

Love eating here! It's nice eating inside or on the outdoor patio. The margarita options are tasty and I love that they have some beer on tap. The grilled flavor of the chicken and steak is fantastic. I've had their enchiladas with spinach and cheese with green sauce. I've also had them with steak, grilled chicken and shredded chicken. My hubby enjoyed the burrito and sopes too.

Our boss decided to buy lunch today and my coworker and I were trying to figure out where to pick up lunch from and so we found this place. He placed the order an said the lady on the phone was really nice, so we were off to a good start! It was ready in 15 minutes and they checked the order w me and made sure we had everything we needed. The food looked so good and FRESH! Coworker started eating before I got a full pic, but he got a Carne Asada Burrito and I got the Fogata Burrito with the salsas on the outside and each got a jr. plate 1 taco (beef hard shell) with beans and rice. My coworker said " I just keep eating and I'm not even hungry" Lol! His wife and kids came by and saw the food and now is gonna order some!

This is hands down the best no frills Mexican I’ve ever had. The beans are extraordinary as is everything here. The staff is so nice and the ambience is great!! I love it

*update* Came back a 2nd time, Feb 2023, but I think something was off this time. There are definitely other things on the menu that I still need to try. But for now, I think their nachos lost a point with me. 1. We specifically came in for the nachos. I don't know why, but I thought their nachos were fresh fried tortilla chips. After getting this new batch of nachos February 2023, it seems like they're using prepackaged chips. I was kind of disappointed, only because they seem just a little slightly stale. 2. Something also changed with their beans that they put on top of the nachos. I think this time around, seems like they were refried beans, with maybe just a little bit too much lard. If you let the nachos sit too long, the lard and fattiness of the refried beans just gets a little awkward to the palate. 3. Originally I had mentioned that this place was like going to Las Fuentes up by Vanowen near Reseda and the like. I can't really say that anymore. It really is two different restaurants, and two different experiences. Oct 2022: If you decide to eat inside, you get that old school, rustic Hacienda vibe. Love the service, love the food. There's decent parking out front. They do use real cheese on the nachos! Thank goodness for that.

My favorite crunchy tacos in all of Los Angeles. Mouth-watering Machaca, fast service, plenty of seating, great decor. Pro Tip: I order 4 tacos a la cart (2 chicken, 2 beef) so I don’t fill up on beans and rice;)

Been here a couple of times for years and the food is good , love there hard shell tacos. There Chile verde is yummy also. My mom decided to try the sopes for the first time , while the toppings and meat was delicious the tortilla was not what she expected. From our experience from other places and at home the tortilla are fried which gives it a nice crunch but this one here was just warmed up, so not our favorite style?. We usually go during the day on a weekday, so parking isn't bad, but pretty sure is gets full during the weekend.
