The Oaks Gourmet = Good Grub!. Your momma made it for you ... your momma's momma made it for your momma ... you'll make it for your kids one day ... it's simple, it's pure, it's GRUB ... it is the grilled cheese. And thanks to John B., we've got grilled cheese night at The Oaks Gourmet to satisfy our fix for little-kid-all-grown-up goodness. Word on the street is that this place rotates its nightly GRUB offerings ... the aforementioned grilled cheese night gets to tango with taco nights and soup-in-a-bread-bowl nights. But alas, we got to frequent this fine establishment on a night committed to childhood and the mighty grilled cheese. At the Oaks, you're looking at some super-high-end-quality cheeses ... we're not talking about craft singles ... although we do hear they have a full glass of milk in each square ... we're talking about sharp cheddar, Gruyere, and Danish Fontina. And the cheese and delicious sourdough bread are only a canvas upon which The Oaks Gourmet paints its masterpiece, because on the night we hit up this Grub spot we had options to choose from ... the likes of Cajun shrimp-and-andouille-sausage, truffled-crimini-mushrooms, and the one we missed because we were too overtaken by the first two ... the crispy prosciutto with a sunny side egg, known gracefully as The Oaks Madam. Now don't get me wrong, my grilled cheese was amazing with its thick-n-juicy slices of sausage, roasted peppers, and arugula ... but overlooking the Madame on the menu finally makes the Wizard of Westwood click in my head ... "be quick, but don't hurry." But who could find me at fault ... I was overwhelmed with my choice of a gourmet grilled cheese sandwich, paired with a side of rich-n-creamy tomato soup, and tons of unique, hard-to-find beer and soda options ... could you really blame me for jumping the gun a little bit? Couple that all up with a homemade cupcake / a three x three inch chocolate-peanut-butter atomic GRUB-bomb, and it's pretty much game over. So if it's a Wednesday ... and you're in Hollywood ... and you like yourself some amazingess ... you know where you need to go. Because just like your momma would do when you stubbed your pinkie toe ... the Oaks Gourmet will make it all better ... and this time we're talking about GRUB.
The Oaks Gourmet Market has been garnering lots of attention since its arrival last fall. Whether in the market for coffee, fine Italian meats, or Ostrich Jerky, chances are you'll find everything you're looking for along with one of the best burgers in t
Really cool spot with plenty of food, drink, and coffee options. Large selection of beers and canned mixed drinks to choose from. Got the banh mi which was really tasty. They used a soft bread instead of the traditional hard baguette that I think was a nice twist to the classic ingredients. Would absolutely return. Plenty of outdoor seating
Awesome burger and Parmesan/ Truffle fries.
Nice atmosphere and good people, staff and customers
I’m only visiting but would def be back if I was local :-)
Let's just say The Oaks Gourmet has the best veggie breakfast burrito I've ever eaten. Tater tots inside, perfectly cooked eggs, and mushrooms. I got one to go for my dinner at the Hollywood Bowl. Delicious at night! It's the service in this place where someone Robert, I believe, who knows your name or will try to memorize it day one that brought me back. He is so friendly and knowledgeable that he makes you wonder how the world gets along when he's not there.

This is our neighborhood go-to. Totally underrated place. The Oaks has such friendly staff every time, delicious deli products, a super selection of wines, and some of the BEST breakfast food. The veggie breakfast burrito especially is a knockout. Their salads and pizza are delicious for lunch. Just… 10/10. Keep doing what you’re doing! 👏
Dropped in for breakfast. Ordered a breakfast burrito with bacon. Hands down it was the best breakfast burrito I've had in my life! Perfectly seasoned. Fresh. The wrap was light and not doughy. Customer service was top notch. If I ever return to LA, I'm dropping in again!!!
Staff is amazing. Grilled cheese is the best in the world. I would come every morning just for the ham and cheese croissant. Best in the world. What happened to it? Now it’s from someone else or made differently and is very subpar :(
I can’t believe Ived lived down the street from here for years and I just came here for the first time recently! This place is adorable, it’s a very nice cafe/restaurant/wine store/ smoothie bar/ baked goods/ food food and just well everything else you could think of store! They even have adorable canned artisanal beers starting at $3
The chicken bahn mi sandwich was delicious! The bread was amazinggg
And the workers (i think their names were brad and gabby, I apologize if i remembered wrong 😑)
But they were super nice, friendly, and helpful!
I am absolutely in love with this place and it’s my new regular hangout, it checks all my boxes and even ones I didn’t realize I had haha
Also it’s open till 9 pm everyday now so even better! And they serve breakfast all day!
And everyday they have some sort of special food deal
Amazing deli! Great great place. You can buy the wine and drink it on the patio. The options of food, wine and beer- great service! The wine and drinks selection in on point
A great spot to grab a quick breakfast or brunch with outdoor seating. Great wine & beer selection; coffee is top notch! The breakfast burrito is the way to go. Super nice staff!
Close to our new house is this cafe, let me tell that there Breakfast veggie burrito is the best burrito for breakfast in the world.
My partner enjoys the avocado toast, with an fried egg. Good regular hot latte. Also good selection of picnic goods.
Thx :).
Good selection of food and super tasty. Somewhat on the pricier side and not much place to sit comfortably.
Good selection of snacks and drinks. Had a tasty baguette with chicken, pesto & cheese. I would describe it as a fancy convenience store, rather than a gourmet Market. Hmm that title gives other expectations.
The staff is very attentive. It's a cute little shop with specialty items and decent wine selection. I tried the steak sandwich, it was okay. The meat was kind of chewy. But the garlic aioli was dynamite.

Good quality food in a convenient location. A great selection of different beverages. All of the seating outside, which is an issue because some of the tables are on an incline.
