The Escondite - Los Angeles - Photo album

I ventured to this bar one Saturday night, drawn by the live streaming of the LA Derby Dolls bout, despite having no prior knowledge of its existence. Nestled away from the bustling nightspots of Little Tokyo and the Arts District, this establishment provides a unique, secluded atmosphere. What sets
Really enjoy coming here. It's typically chill, drinks are reasonable, great live music, available parking and has a great view. It's not easy to find a bar that offers all these things in DTLA. So far so good 👍.
Dive bar, done right. The music was great mix of classic and modern rock with a touch of punk. Played at a level that you could still have an intimate conversation without raising one’s voice. The food was terrific, and the prices were reasonable especially for downtown.
VIBES. Keep it lowkey 😎 music and food is great drinks a plenty. Beers you haven’t seen in the west coast.
Part live music venue, part sports bar & part pub with a diner menu, it's the DTLA hangout for locals. Great wings, loaded fries, subs, tacos, fish & chips, burritos, & fun twists on burger favorites, like the Captain Kangaroo: gravy smothered hash browns & egg on a patty or the Dolly Parton: buffal
I like this place. It's the right amount of divey, the food is pretty good, there's plenty of seating, and parking is pretty easy. The downside: it's surrounded on all sides by homeless incampents which is out of their control, but not great. They do have their own parking lot and usually a guard ke
Great covered outdoor patio and good beer selection. Excellent music choices. Also very Chicago themed if you are into that.
Super lowkey, especially mid day. Cartoons and sports. Always good music. Staff is friendly. Burgers are interesting, some are exotic. My choice is the Friday special, The Re-Run.
Disco-vibe atmosphere. Lots of spinny lights and a great selection of booze. Friendly staff. Definitely a good DTLA haunt.
Great place to hang out. Good food and fair prices for drinks. Thr outdoor area is the best part. Woe, the skyline views
I love the "speak easy" feeling of it. Full bar with lots of craft beer choices. Live band every night starting at 10pm. Patio seating is available. Huge bar. Servers are friendly.
My husband and I almost left (I think we showed up during a shift change) but we're SO glad we didn't! The person we believe is the owner/manager noticed we were stranded and served us two rounds of drinks like magic. This place delivers next-level ambiance with an epic DTLA skyline as a backdrop. W
Awesome place to come for uniquely made burgers. I got the the truck stopper which comes with mash potatoe, veggie gravy, and cheese, same on the fries. They are simply amazing! My wife got chillies cheese fries which is made from beef and beans. Those are also pretty amazing. This place also has a
Love the staff. Love the vibe. Love the cartoons playing on the TVs. Love the food. The staff is always so kind to me and remembers where I like sitting and making for sure that my "Service Dog" (wolf) always is looked after and given ice to chew on which she loves. It typically has a fun band playi
Great dive bar scene! Solid food and great ownership. Find yourself in downtown and wanting shaded/covered open-air imbibing in the rain or heavy sun days...this is your spot. I will make it back here anytime I'm staying in downtown LA.
If you are a fan of Chicago sports, this is the place for you. The food is really good and the staff is extremely friendly. We came here with a regular who lives in the neighborhood and we were not disappointed. I had the Boss Hog which was really good. Obviously not going to be a healthy meal,
I really liked it. The homeless were not a factor. Great parking. Just a cool venue in dtla
Super cool place! Definitely coming back! The drinks were good, burgers were amazing and great atmosphere👌
