They make chocolate chip danish the proper way! And it was perfect.
I used to go there regularly when I lived in the area. Just saw a notice where this Saturday (4-30-2022) will be their final day of business. It's sad to see a landmark like this shutting its doors.
Outstanding smells and tastes are pervasive here. The real deal. A great old-time bakery with a legendary presence on Pico Bl in LA. Try their rolls, rugullah and their dark bread with raisins. Best bialys and rye bread too. Poppy seeds galore. Yummy, all.
I have gone here since I was a little girl. I may be a bit biased because this bakery has so many good memories for me, but I love everything here. My parents do as well. Everyone is so sweet and the food is amazing!! Beats any bakery near where I currently live. It’s always worth the drive. Definit
The best and freshest bakery just a walk from where I live. However, I wish they made fresh apple 🍎 pies. The Challah tastes better than the kosher bakeries. Oh, did I mention the real Jewish Rye?

Great bakery! Everything is fresh and delicious. Their onion rolls are the best! Very reasonable prices. Easy parking. Sales team are friendly.
