Great food and great service. The bad ass breakfast sandwich was the most satisfying breakfast I've had as a vegan. I will be back!
Locali is amazing! I actually LOVE their vegan cheddar cheese! The owner is super sweet and the Badass Sandwich is totally bad ass!
I went there for a morning cup of Joe, driving by and decided to stop and for breakfeast. The coffee was by far the best coffee I have ever tasted! I tried the bagel breakfeast sandwich..Needless to say, I started my morning right by stopping in here. Must go back. =)
best breakfast sandwiches ever omg!! grand opening today was great!
In town for only 20 hours, I was at Griffith this weekend and wanted something healthy, googled 'healthy options near me' and Locali came up. It sounded perfect and tasted even better. I did a build your own salad and had the dairy free coconut froyo for dessert and so impressed. Well done, will definitely be my go-to when I return to LA. So many options for all.
Great food, love the tuna sandwich 🥪 I had.
Best avocado toast!!! Mango Chutney was everything!
The Badasss breakfast sandwich was AMAZEBALLS!! I also had the Lulu smoothie which was amazing as well. Next time I'm in LA, that'll be my first stop!
The Baaadasss Breakfast Sandwich is amazing! Just sayin'
What a breath of fresh air this place is!! I just love it!!!
The food was really good! I loved the blondie sandwich the most it’s for sure something you will want to try!
Although I did enjoy “The Blondie Sandwich” I would say as far as the “Franklin Phenomenon” for my taste or anyone who like flavor should ask to add mustard.
The tater tots were yummy and crunch however the website was sort of misleading, as I ordered a large I was given a small box with very few tots in the box, the cashier insisted that the size I was given was the only size they offered. That’s was dissatisfying to know because i was offered two different sizes when I ordered.
Over all I did enjoy “The Blondie Sandwich” so I will come back for that!
Imagine if a Whole Foods market decided to marry a 7Eleven in California and then had a baby; that baby’s name would be Locali, and it would grow up to chillax and live around the Hollywood area. The food selection that Locali offers is great for vegans and non-vegans, as all of their sandwiches are completely customizable with real meats and cheeses or their vegan substitutes. I ended up deciding on ordering the Ruben sandwich along with the Dragonslayer smoothie, and I also got and the Fugedabboudit sandwich (a name which I totally fudged upon ordering) for my sister.
The Dragonslayer smoothie is so delicious and refreshing, the flavor was light and not overly sweet so I didn’t get a sugar rush or sugar crash after drinking the whole cup in one sitting, and since it’s made with coconut milk yogurt and oat milk, it wasn’t too heavy either like other smoothies made with actual whole milk yogurts. I was totes ready to slay for the rest of the day after drinking this!
I actually got the Ruben sandwich because the guy working the counter recommended it, and I’m really glad that I took his recommendation, because the sandwich was delightful. There was a generous pile of seasoned turkey, swiss cheese, lots of sauerkraut, and Russian dressing sandwiched between two slices of beautifully marbled rye bread. At first glance, I was a little worried that there was too much sauerkraut in the sandwich, but it ended up being just the right amount, as it really complements the other components in the sandwich and brings all the flavors together in perfect harmony. They cut their sandwiches in half, so if you get 2 with a pal, you can both try 2 different sandwiches in one visit, but the sandwich halves are so big and stuffed with lots of fillings, that I think you can even just share 1 sandwich with your buddy. I was actually very full after eating 1 half, so I decided to save my other half for lunch for the next day, and it was still just as good.
Eating healthy is a bit difficult when you’re eating out. So while searching for some healthy options, I happened to stumble upon Locali.
It’s located in a small plaza off Franklin, fairly close to the 101 freeway, so it’s pretty easily accessible. There is a small lot, and parking was available when I arrived (granted I was there on a Tuesday evening). But if push comes to shove, residential parking is also available!
Locali happens to be a woman owned business, and I think it’s awesome to support a small business. They have a variety of sandwiches, salads and even breakfast foods on the menu. I was a bit overwhelmed by the menu, so I immediately asked the cashier for some suggestions. She was very friendly and informative! She provided me with a variety of fan favorites along with her own.
We decided to order The Franklin Phenomenon and The Georgia Blonde (not vegan version). The sandwiches were very cheesy and super yummy! The Franklin Phenomenon had a nice assortment of veggies which gave it a nice fresh flavor. The Georgia Blonde had a beautiful color, and while I’m not usually a fan of red cabbage, this sandwich made a fan out of me. The sauce and cheese masked the flavor of cabbage well, which made the sandwich even more delicious!
Great place for those looking to try going vegetarian for the first time. Locali definitely knows how to make vegetarian food taste amazing! Will come back for more soon!
This is the very first place we stopped to eat in Los Angeles after our flight and let me tell you, it was an excellent choice. The food here was BEYOND incredible. I was blown away, as this was just a quick choice I made without much consideration. After I finished my sandwich, I was tempted to walk up and grab another, it was so good. Definitely recommend this spot.
Solid healthy vegan food with tons of drink options and a nice outdoor seating area. The salad was good but had a super small portion of dressing, which made it a bit dry overall. Their coconut bacon is super tasty and the reuben was also great.
Tons of healthy options here including vegan, gluten free, local kombuchas, yerba mate, fresh juices! Very filling smoothies and nicely good-sized salad bowls! My favorite was The Ruben panini - delicious!
Must get the Vegan Badss Sandwhich with avocado.
If you’re looking for quality vegan food, definitely must try this spot. I thought it was interesting that they have a mini grocery section where you can also shop for some drinks or frozen foods while you grab a meal to eat here.
The service is pretty fast and always super friendly.
