The waiter was friendly and attentive. It looks like a family-owned place. Food was yummy. I like the coconut steamed rice and beef best from the plate I ordered. Good for people who enjoy spices and spicy food. They serve it on plate not banana leaf.

It was my first time eating Indonesian food and it won't be the last time my family and I come here. By far the best customer service we have experienced Lydia was very sweet and patient with us and we felt like home at Ramayani. Food was delicious till the last bite and homemade cooking by "grandma". We ordered Nasi Uduk and Satay Beef, flavors are well balanced and the sauce from the Satay beef will keep you coming back for more. We'll be coming back very soon, we don't mind driving from Newport for excellent hospitality and excellent food! Thank You Lydia and family !!

I was so excited when i found this place but it turned out to be the worst experience Indonesian food ever. Satay combo was tasteless, the meats were too tough and i can tell the peanut sauce was made from instant peanut sauce. Batagor was xoxo and came exactly with the same peanut sauce. Martabak? Nasi Uduk? Even the easiest thing to make such as es durian didn't taste right, everything we ordered was very disappointing. Slow service..it was like the worst $72 to spend...totally not worth it.

Meh. Overpriced for what it is. Just bc it's the only Indo spot in the area doesn't make it special. If I drop $14.18 on a bowl of chx curry soup with rice noodles, I expect it to be a) delicious and b) filling. This was neither. Blandish, not fresh, lacking in flavor. Small amount of chopped grisly chicken. Curry tasted like it came from a can, not made. Service was ok.

Excellent food. Full of flavor and made me want to eat slowly and savor every bite. Rustic and homey ambience inside which I liked, and friendly staff. Can't wait to go again.

This place is delicious! I’d never had Indonesian food before, but I was pleasantly surprised; it tastes similar to Thai food. There are food modification options (including vegetarian), which is great for me being gluten and lactose intolerant. The service is excellent (friendly staff and fast arrival of food), and prices are reasonable. Plus, the design of the restaurant is great because there is a lot to look at; two thumbs up!

The food is clean, homemade and off the Beaten Track, different than Thai, Indian and other such cultural cuisines period familiar yet adventurous. The people here are very kind and proud of what they do, what they serve and have a very nice family-run business. I happen to order the two best dishes there, the lamb Curry and oxtail soup and they were just delicious and Hardy. My companion and I couldn't have enjoyed our meal more!

Absurdly delicious Indonesian food in a restaurant run by people who really care to make everything from scratch and delicious. I'm not an expert on Indonesian cuisine, but I have been there for a month and it was great to have some of my favorite dishes that I remembered. Definitely go, you won't be disappointed!
