Holy smokes this place is da bomb! The deep dish pizza is legit. I could talk about the crust all day - it is flaky and delicious; and the sauce is perfectly flavored. But really it’s all about the crust. The chicagoans were impressed 👍 👍👍 Hunter and Aaron were warm and friendly. And Luis is my hero for making my Christmas dreams come true with homemade giardiniera.
I was in LA to visit a friend, we stopped in blackbird for a bite and omg we were blown away...I have spent lots of time in Chicago so I'm a deep dish snob, but this place is delicious!!!
I'm from Chicago and this legit is the best deep dish pizza I've ever had on the West Coast. It's a strong runner up to Pequods on the North Side of Chicago
The one thing I miss from my hometown of Chicago is deep dish pizza. Im so happy Blackbird opened in my neighborhood!
