I was so pleased with Mariscos Altimar. The best ceviche I have had in the states. Customer service was terrific. The only drawback was the wait for a table. As one of the few restaurants with patio seating in the area it takes a while to get a table. We waited for over an hour but the food and service more than made up for it. But , hey, we're living in a pandemic, gotta roll with the flow.
Very good change up from the typical "red or green" New Mexican fare. Great fajitas.
Mariscos is our go to restaurant when we are craving the most delicious food they have done an outstanding job during this Covid pandemic and we will continue to always support them
Mexican/seafood is absolutely delicious! With a variety of drinks on the menu! The staff an managers are very welcoming and friendly! With social distancing the patio seating is comfortable seating area. Overall Highly recommended!!
We both ordered the chicken fajitas and loved them! The food was made fresh and everything tasted really good. The sides of rice and beans were authentic Mexican style, which is what we love. The server was fantastic and always came by to check if we needed more refills or anything else. To management, the only thing we would improve is the salsa cups and to make them bigger so our chips fit in them. The chip basket is cute but not so efficient. The salsa's were both delicious. The restaurant is very clean and maintenance was making more improvements as we dined but it was no big deal. They also have a nice bar area with lots of TV's so it would be a fun place to drink and catch a game. The reviews made me second guess going here and that's too bad. The restaurant is beautiful and the prices are fair. I would definitely be back. Try the chicken fajitas, you won't be sorry.
I would really recommend this place to eat, sit, and enjoy your time there... very sanitize with table and social distance. 😇

My family and I frequent the ABQ location more but when meeting friends and family from down south we go to Los Lunas location! It doesn’t matter which location we’ve been to both food and service are consistent! Always feel like having dinner with extended family while dining at Mariscos Altamar!
