Easily the best place we visited in Louisville, so much so that we went twice! The bourbon caramel was wonderful in cold brew. We will be searching for breakfast sandwiches for a long time that taste that good.
We also had to taste a couple pastries and they were both delicious.
It's also just a cool shop to sit in and maybe even buy some bourbon.
I've stalked this place for a week once I learned of their amazing baked goods. I finally went on a Monday late morning, and they were sold out.
I saw the prices of things and thought "oh this is one of those pretentious, overpriced coffee places." I was absolutely wrong. The barista that helped me was so friendly and apologetic - zero of which being sold out is his fault. He gave me some great suggestions of other things I may like and his favorites.
I landed on the Dan which and a cortado. It was great. The food portions fit the pricing.
Seating is very limited, so if you're looking to stay and work a bit, you'll want to grab a seat early.
All in all, they lived up to the hype, and I will be back to try their cocktails too.
Breakfast sandwich was so good my friend was stuffing his face like the Cookie Monster! Speaking of cookies, the chocolate chip one that came with this sandwich had amazing texture and flavor… Might be the best cookie in town!
This place is amazeballs! Delicious! Wow. Had a croissant supreme with an espresso. Oh la la I was in heaven. Employees were also so friendly. Thank you so much for making my Louisville stay that much better.
I will return for a delicious breakfast before I leave.
Incredible bacon, egg, and cheese breakfast Biscuit. Huge biscuit, buttery and fluffy. Crispy bacon and a really nicely flavored egg.
Pastry game was also on point. Highly recommend the monkey buns and pumpkin Muffin.

This was our morning breakfast stop before heading out on the Bourbon Trail. Really cool atmosphere, and the coffee and sandwiches are excellent. I had the butcherblock (pictured), and if you're going to be out tasting at the different distilleries, this is probably the sandwich to get first.
My wife did some research and decided our group of 6 should go here for breakfast... We got there and there was a line and all the seats were filled... It was packed. We managed to get a table and everyone was incredibly quiet. We finished, and left. I think we were all in shock.
We can't stop commenting on the food. I had the BEST ham and cheese ... Ever. The biscuits were the best one person has ever had, the sausage was amazing says another...
We considered going back this morning even though it would be an hour out of our way.
A little taste of Europe right in Louisville’s backyard! Extremely cute aesthetic. I live for a gorg atmosphere. We got 3 croissants: mocha, chocolate, & almond. The almond croissant was my favorite, the mocha had way too much filling and the chocolate didn’t have enough— would’ve absolutely preferred the chocolate to have more filling lol. It is pricey, we were going to get a few breakfast sandwiches but didn’t expect the price tag that was on it, $10 for a sausage biscuit in Louisville. Being from Atlanta, it’s expected, but Louisville shocked me lol. All in all, super cute place, friendly staff, & yummy croissants!
Butchertown Grocery Bakery has the most delicious baked goods around. They’re so creative and the food is absolutely craveable. You have to try it!
We ate here on our vacation and the food is amazing. Lots of flavor and fast service for a small shop.
The customer service is also so fantastic! The guy forgot to ring up my husband's order and when we asked about it awhile later, he gave us the sandwich for free and a gift card, which we totally didn't expect.
Go here for great food and great service.
