Restaurant is amazingly beautiful inside and outside.
Food is lovely and it extrapolates you back home with the concise and delicious flavor. Waitress, bartenders and managers do an excellent job and service.
However, the many times I have been to the restaurant haven't feel so welcomed at first glance. I would say the staff in the entrance should make the public warm and welcome with a better disposition and manners to guide you. It should be great to see an smile and emphatic attitude from them at the door. Thanks!!
We absolutely loved our meal here. Everything was fresh, delicious and absolutely beautiful! The decor was super cute and the service was excellent. We loved our server Gigi and appreciated the manager coming over to check on us as well. Recommend by locals and now we understand why!
We had the best meal and time here! The guac trio with plantain and blue corn chips was great! Same with the Enfrijolada. The margaritas were delicious and strong! Byron our waiter was very attentive and fun, and he gave us great recommendations when we were on the fence between menu items.
Dudes. DUDES! I was in town on business and picked this place based on reviews and pictures, it was even better than I expected!
A+ Service. Freaking amazing food (I had salmon and guac). Perfection.
It was a bit loud for talking, but the food made it worth it.
My mother and I organized a small brunch for my sister to celebrate her engagement here. We had brought some flower arrangements and a few other small things and the staff was so accommodating and helpful! The service was fantastic from start to finish and the meals were not only beautifully presented but they were absolutely delicious. We had a great experience here all around and I highly recommend it.
This was a unique place to visit on our getaway with friends. We sat on the rooftop, where there misters going to cool us down. We just had appetizers (plantain chips were amazing) and drinks. The appetizers were delicious & the drinks were unique & refreshing. The atmosphere was really fun and the servers were friendly & attentive. Also, plenty photo opportunities!
Neat place. Very busy so we came back later for deserts and they were very good. Good location on the Bourbon Trail!
The cocktails were fun and delicious! I highly recommend the smoked swordfish taquito appetizer!
Words of choice: flavor, colorful, GREAT date night....
This was my second time here. I genuinely think you will enjoy this place no matter your conceptions, background, or appetite
It was a really cool concept to bring to the NuLu area of Louisville. It is chef inspired and their whole mission is about colorful vibrancy. You can see this through their decor right when you walk in. There are bright flowers EVERYWHERE.
We sat on the rooftop balcony area where the bar is. Great service from the bartender and staff.
We got the traditional guacamole as an appetizer. Which I must say was the best guac I have had (Although I haven't had guac from that many restaurants soo...). It was smooth and creamy and had tons of flavor. I liked how in the chips they included plantains, never see that at other places besides Havana rumba. There were also edible flowers on top, which again added to the colorful vibrancy theme.
Then we shared a dish that was like an open faced quesadilla with braised rib as the meat choice. This was phenomenal! It was so big so my fiance and i shared it. It had tons of different textures which complemented well and again had flowers on top.
Things can be pretty pricey here so don't come if you are thinking it will be a cheap little basic meal. Its not. Its top notch food so you will pay top notch prices. All entrees fall under about $30 a plate. But to me its worth it if you are looking for a date night.
My husband and I were in Louisville recently visiting a friend and had a lovely lunch here! The place itself is vibrant and fun, our waitress was very kind and had lots of suggestions, and the food was both presented beautifully and tasted amazing. I had the Enfrijoladas and my husband the Carne Asada - I definitely recommend them both!
Very cute restaurant. The design is beautiful as soon as you enter, the service was great, and the menu has plenty to order from with great drinks. We enjoyed dinner on the roof.
The food was great! One of the best Mexican restaurants in my opinion. Their dishes are flavorful and amazingly presented with class.
Wow! Food was amazing. Service even better. Elote was served warm. So good. My pork was tender and juicy. Tortillas were thick and held up to all my toppings without breaking. My mom said this was the closest Mexican she’s ever had that to that from her favorite Mexican restaurant in Sante Fe, NM.
Been here twice and i cant say its been a consistent experience. Servers are always pleasant and they are helpful when you have questions about the menu.
Ive had a little of everything.. Mole, Burritos, Tacos, Guac (they have several types), steak.. among these, i can say their queso is quite good but nothing else really stands out.
Its a nice place and its a good idea to take guests since the atmosphere is very “trendy”
It is always crowded.. seats are quite close to each other so if you need your personal space, this place isnt for you.
I live in California and went to Louisville to visit my friends. I was beyond impressed to see NuLu and such amazing restaurants. I haven’t seen a Mexican restaurant in Orange County that can be even compared to Guaco Mole. Service, food, presentation, ambiance, music all excellent!!
Fun, lively atmosphere! The staff was friendly. We went on a Saturday night and there was live music playing tableside. We ordered the birria tacos, pastor tacos and guacamole. Everything was fresh and delicious! There is a small parking lot on the side of the restaurant.
This place is outstanding. The food is delicious, presentation of food is awesome, atmosphere is great and service is excellent. Highly recommend
It is a fabulous place, I love the design and the food is good. The service is very kind and I enjoy the music. We had tacos de birria, lamb in mole (coloradito), and pozole. The lamb and birria were delicious, but the pozole was not too good for us, it wasn't an authentic recipe. However, I think the recipe was designed for local people and I'm sure you are going to enjoy it. The rice that was a side for the lamb was a little hard, so I didn't like it because I prefer a soft rice. Definitely, I loved the plantains as side in my lamb. The only thing that I recommend is to have bigger tables, we had a dinner for 4 and the table was too small to put all the plates or offer the option to join 2 tables or like that. I can't wait to come back with my friends, but I want to sit outside because the atmosphere looks pretty cool.
