Bourbons Bistro - Louisville - Photo album

Had a reservation on a Friday night. Service and food was excellent. It’s a very romantic atmosphere. Although the place is not overly fancy, it is extremely nice and charming. Loved the lights in the dining room, the brick and the wood. The food was worthy of a fine restaurant, presentation and tas
Beautiful place! I had the best old-fashioned cocktail. It is strong but loves it. I had spicy fried oysters. I enjoyed it a lot. I love spicy. Then I had Bourbon Chop. It was so delicious. I really enjoyed the green beans and the mashed potato, but I love the pork chop more. I would like to come
Outstanding! Service was excellent, and the food was as well! I had the shrimp and grits and it is one or perhaps the best I've had. My party had the pork chop and they were as pleased as me. Has the bread pudding for desert and could not believe how good bread pudding could be! It was pheno
Enjoyed dinner, bourbon tasting and cigars as part of the Black Bourbon Run. Great hospitality from owner Jason Brauner (Buzzards Roost). Amazing experience!
We really enjoyed our meals and drinks at Bourbon Bistro. Our waitress was outstanding and offered good recommendations. Great location in a more lively part of town. Will come back.
Overall great experience. Nice selection of bourbon and good eats. The reason I gave 4 stars for the food is due to the bread pudding dessert. While flavorful with amazing cherries on top, the amount of sauce/glaze on the plate was complete overkill.
Get the filet and shrimp and grits. The steak melted in my mouth and I've NEVER EVER EVER IN MY ENTIRE LIFE had shrimp and grits as good as the chef here does. He's amazing. I wish i could come him. These pictures are not the two entrees referred to above but instead are taken at a private dinner w
Great hospitality, wonderfully crafted cocktails, and the food prepared perfectly. I had the filet, a friend the pork chop, another the shrimp and grits. All were delicious and great portions. Check all times when reserving party sizes and times. An earlier time may make the difference in being insi
We went there to celebrate our anniversary and loved everything we ordered, especially the sea bass entrée which is a chef special. We love this place and will definitely go back.
We shared another spectacular meal at Bourbons Bistro this evening. Our party of six was well taken care of by Randy. She was just a pleasure to talk with and was more than attentive. Chef McFarland and Sous Chefs Sewell and Varju are truly artists with their menu and preparation. Hands down, th
The chicken wings are amazing! They are covered in a sauce with bits of bacon. You'll want to lick your fingers after you're done. The fried oysters over grits were really good. The grits have a good mild flavor. The pork chop was delicious! Lean and well cooked. I just wish it came with a little mo
Attended a bourbon pairing dinner. Penelope Bourbon. Food was excellent. Bourbon was very good
This may be the best meal I’ve ever had from start to finish! The ambiance is fantastic, the selection of bourbon is plenty and the staff/ownership are top notch. This place is a little on the more expensive side but it was worth every penny! I can’t wait to frequent Bourbons when I’m down in the
Love this place! Went here on a recommendation and was glad I did. Good bourbon selection! The food was outstanding. I had the spicy fried oysters to start. I love oysters, but usually not a fan if they are fried. However, the description intrigued me. They weee fantastic! They have a smaller dinner
Surprised my husband with a Valentine's reservation at this bourbon mecca. It was a wonderful experience from the extensive bourbon list, to the delicious garlicky goat cheese appetizer that was followed by a perfectly seasoned ribeye accompanied by braised broccoli and finished off with two deligh
I would give Bourbons Bistro 6 stars if it was an option! We met Chef Jereme at a cooking class in the spring and decided we needed to try the restaurant. Jereme came out to the table to greet us. He prepared an amazing dinner for us and checked on us several times during our meal. And the bread
I tried the Spicy Fried Oysters, Garlic and Goat Cheese spread & the Salmon cakes. Jeremy the chef was amazing. I really wanted to try everything!!! Oops I forgot....the Chilean Salmon was simply divine! Kudos to the waitstaff....Margo was magnificent!!! The fireplace on the patio added to the great
Dinner out during the week. Long shotgun type dining room. It would have been a cozy table except we were next to a group of 10 who were enjoying themselves immensely. Good for them! Just made it a bit loud. The cocktails were excellent and bourbon on the rocks was a generous pour. The menu is limit
