Great cocktail menu. The Last Word and Paper Plane were very good. Nice back bar choices. Amazing food with great vegetarian choices. The cauliflower and cabbage dishes were super tasty. Reservations are a must. SAVOR-4 out of 5
Really good quality food and drinks...a hidden gem in Louisville. The best bourbon cocktail of the trip, by far. We had several appetizers and several entrees, yet only one entree pasta dish disappointed. Everything else was great, and the staff was nice and attentive.
went on a back porch session night. tokyo. the menu wasn’t expansive (but it was special) and i tried a good number of items. every single one was delicious. i tried four drinks (but i only drank two, please don’t worry), several dishes. the drinks are delicious (if not ridiculously garnished), the food is spectacular (i had a chicken skewer that made me want to punch things. truly, so good it made me angry and i recognize that’s irrational BUT IT’S ALSO IRRATIONAL HOW DELICIOUS THE CHICKEN WAS). the bar was a little crowded, but the dining space gave me more room to enjoy company and libations. my biggest bugaboo was that the music was loud. but definitely worth it when the food and drink are as delightful as they are.
Must visit! The food, atmosphere, and service was absolutely impeccable. We are visiting from New Mexico and were absolutely blown away by the overall quality of the experience. I think we’ll visit again just on this few day trip! Thank you so very much for making our first stop on this adventure, so memorable.
Loved this unique place. Ambiance was modern industrial with open kitchen. Service was excellent. Food was very good. My favorite place in Louisville so far. We'll be back!
Incredible meal! Atmosphere was wonderful and the food was skillfully made. This steak was one of the best of my life.
Miracle on Market pop up bar. Fun drink recipes. Cool glass. Great service. Delicious food. The heater in the dining room works well.
Good place to eat and drink. Location is easy to find and interior design is beautiful. Fresh food
What a gem! Beautiful and incredibly tasty dishes and absolutely perfectly crafted cocktails! Warm and friendly staff. Absolute perfection!
Food was amazing, but the service could be better. Nice atmosphere and setting, it has a vintage upscale feel inside. My family and I had a reservation, but we arrived early and they didn't have a problem seating us at a table. However, the hostess took a bit to seat us as she had to seat the first party ahead of us who she was talking to for awhile. Eventually, she asked someone else if they could seat us. We ordered some cocktails once we were seated, but again those took awhile to get to us and they weren't that great. I'd suggest sticking to the wine as that was pretty good. Throughout our dinner, we felt our waitress checked in on us the bare minimum compared to the other tables she was serving especially when we ordered another drink. Something we noticed and definitely felt, bringing our experience down a bit which was a shame because the food was fantastic. We ordered the pappardelle, the duck breast and the ribeye which were all delicious. We finished every bite!
Always one of my favorite stops in Louisville. Both the food and drink menu change regularly. Always incorporating fresh ingredients in imaginative ways, everything still as a homey, inviting character. We only stopped by for drinks this visit, but both cocktails were fantastic - light and refreshing and perfect for summer. Definitely on our list for our next visit though!
Amazing!! Staff, service, cocktails, food...everything from start to finish was better than we could have imagined. The red beet small plate was to die for, but everything we got was absolutely delicious. If we lived in Louisville we would definitely go again!!
Very tasty, but do not be deceived by the price suggestion on Google! This place is fancy with a capitol "F" haha! But so worth it. The duck breast was delicious! Would go again on another special occasion. Service was very nice and quick, and all the other customers seemed to be having a great time. Seemed like a nice hangout spot of you have the wallet to back it up ;)
On a girls' bourbon tasting trip from Toronto, we were craving a spot with good cocktails like we have at home. Rye was recommended to us by a number of bartenders in the area as "the place" for cocktails, so we went on an early Friday evening after spending the day at Churchill Downs. We sat down at the bar and were served by an amazing blonde-haired bartender that very clearly knew her way around a cocktail. She made us an amazing mint julep and a few other drinks from her cocktail menu. She also poured us a couple of her favourite bourbons and sent us off with her special shot for good measure. I'm particular when it comes to a good cocktail, but Rye completely hit it out of the park!
My wife got the duck confit and I got the lamb sausage. Our waiter complimented us on our choices, which made me think he was blowing smoke, but I think it may have been in earnest, because both dishes were truly incredible. I also got the "Bite the Bullet" cocktail. Delicious. I know that my wife and I will be back on our next special occasion.
I had one of my better dining experiences here. Sat at the bar, and everyone was incredibly kind and gracious even during a very busy evening (during the event known as Thunder). Drink list is remarkable, food was excellent, ambience is incredible. Easily a 5-Star restaurant worthy of your business.
Absolutely wonderful staff, barkeepers or waitresses. Excellent cocktails with a variety of liquors, not just bourbon. Good food from a chef who improvises well and provides a variety of good options, mainly small plates.
