**EVERYTHING IS VEGAN**
Absolutely amazing experience. We loved the food (my vegan friend described it as “omnivore-fooling good”), the service was decently fast for peak lunchtime, and the staff were all super nice. We had the Pizza Burger and the Farbys (fake-Arby’s) Burger, and both were terrific. We WILL be back, and we will work our way through the rest of the menu.
There’s also a refrigerated section for “quick bites” or grab and go snacks, and a small shop at the back that sells hard to find vegan ingredients (hello, vegan marshmallows!). Must-visit place for vegans and vegetarians, but meat eaters would love it, too!
Only concern would be the small seating area. With such a popular locale serving great food, it makes sense it gets a little crowded. Unfortunately there’s no sort of waiting system on the tables, so it’s awkward trying to claim a table while still leaving room for the staff to clean up (without someone sneaking in and taking it first). It would be great if they would possibly implement a number system for the tables (ex: order 10 gets the next table that comes up, and if they take their food to go, it moves to order 11). If you go during peak dining hours, it’s best if you keep the option open to take the food to go.
I've heard so many good things about Morel's and they were all true. The worst part was trying to decide what to order, everything looked delicious. I ordered the Korean sliders with a Fancy AF side buffalo ranch "chicken" salad. The salad was teeny tiny but oh man, it was so good. The sliders were very good too but next time I'm 100% getting a large salad. My friend got the Farby with dill potato salad.. WOW. She let me have a bite of the sandwich and it was amazing! You do NOT have to be vegan/vegetarian to appreciate Morel's. Highly recommend if you're looking for a casually hip spot w good food.
Delicious!!! There is patio seating available on a wooden platform in the back with lovely garden surroundings. This cafe is in a cool part of town. The inside is awesome as well I would definitely come to eat here again and bring my friends with me!
I agree with the many rave reviews! Vegan junk food that a carnivore like me will enjoy! I had the faux roast beef sandwich and it was a sloppy yummy mess of a vegan fast food feast. The fries were good too. The place has a great vibe, cool atmosphere and if the weather is nice, don't miss the beautiful and relaxing outdoor back patio pergola. Only ding I'd give to my visit was it took a tad long for the food to come out, but no biggie.
One of the best vegan meals I ever had. Super friendly staff, delicious food, fair pricing. They also have some vegan retail products. This place is a must visit if your in the area

One of my FAVORITE vegan establishments. I'm so thankful for this restaurant. I feel like it has opened many doors for other vegan places to open up, and opened my people's eye to the fact that just because it's vegan, doesn't mean it can't be amazing comfort food. There isn't anything on the menu that I wouldn't recommend. My absolute favorite meal to order is the diner burger with either mac n cheese, or potato salad. Some of the best potato salad I've ever had too! There are plenty of different options to choose from, as well as a deli case and many take-home items like pizza! I love that there is also a little store where I can pick up some vegan essentials like nooch, marshmallows, alfredo sauce, etc! There's also an amazing baker who works there (@sugarhighlouisville) and if you go in at the right time, you can grab some of her amazing cakes, muffins, pop tarts, and many other little things! I love this place! (the menu pictured is not the current menu, as it's ever changing, just wanted to give an idea of what's offered!)
It's tasty... AF. Not "good vegan food," just good food that is vegan. Out of all the food pictured below, the mac and cheeze was underseasoned. But everything else was seriously 9/10 or better. The Farby is amazing and so is the Buffalo chik'n sandwich.
THIS PLACE IS ONE OF THE BEST IVE EVER BEEN TO. They have an amazing back patio where can bring your dog and dine out in a garden setting! They have the best comfort/junk food. No doubt!
This place is amazing! Great atmosphere and yummy food! Everything is vegan but it is great for non vegans as well. Even my picky toddler enjoyed! I loved the Farby! Also ordered the wings... and I have craved them every day since!
This place is cute and cozy. Staff is AMAZING! The food....OMG was better than I could've ever imagined. Im new to the Vegan lifestyle and this place couldn't have been a better option. It was an awesome experience and the food was great bar none! I will definitely return.
The food is delicious. The macaroni and cheese is light and tasteful so the pulled pork. The best part is vegan food for carnivores and southern food lovers.
Good atmosphere and fantastic food. I am still not over just how good they make everything taste. Also, the portions are generous and if you get a side of fries you might have to leave some behind.
Had the Farby's meal, it was delicious! Nice atmosphere, good service. It is a cafe though so you order at the counter and bus your own plates, etc. Will be back to try other items for sure!
Absolutely the best veggie burger I've ever had in my life! Also, curly or waffle fries (like there's any other kind worth shoving in your face)! I usually feel surprised when I can even tolerate vegan food meant to mimic meat dishes...but I was so beside myself after my first few bites that I was already setting up lunch dates with friends. Do yourself a favor and try this place out.
First time dining and I enjoyed myself. Feels like a very mellow and calm place. The workers are friendly and knowledgable of their food. I am not vegan or vegetarian. Yet the food was absolutely delicious. Roommate got the Chik-faux-lait and it was absolutely amazing (will be getting that next time)
I got the bratwurst. I liked the flavor, but I think it may be a sometime order for me.
This place is great for any adventurous eater.
I wanted to try this vegan location and it did not disappoint! I had the grilled cheddar cheese burger made from impossible meat. It was delicious!
The beyond meat burger is awesome. Very nice & helpful staff. It's a small place with not much setting. They stayed super busy the whole time I was there for lunch. It was around 1p.m. I will definitely go back 👍
