We had an awesome waitress named Tilli! She was so proud to be a new citizen. She was a delight, and provided excellent service ! I always order the Tempura and my boyfriend has had both the Sushi and the Teriyaki, he loved both of them. It is definitely our new favorite place. We have eaten there several times in the past few months. No matter how busy they are the Sushi always looks and tastes beautiful!

The sushi was fresh and delicious. The server was so sweet—high school age. I ordered a glass of plum wine which was not for me as well as green tea ice cream, which was mainly old and freezer burnt. I sent both back. However, they remained on the bill. It would have been nice to have the charges removed; however, with the cost of doing business, we gladly paid so they did not take a loss

I believe this is one of the better sushi restaurants in Louisville. The sushi is done really well, the staff is friendly and the environment is relaxed but still with the Japanese feel to it. I have not been in some time and glad we returned for a dinner.

Love this place. One of my go to sushi places in Louisville. This place never disappoints. Always quality rolls. Good service. The staff was so attentive to everyone's needs. Food was so good. Also, the sushi rolls may seem expensive, but they're perfectly priced because each piece is huge. Great value.

Sushi was excellent. Experience started off a bit rough as they were extremely busy and were not quickly clearing tables off as people were leaving causing a bottleneck of people waiting. Food made up for the rough start. Fried rice was fresh and hot tempura was also great, but the sushi was flat amazing. Entire time I was there they had at least 4 sushi chefs working nonstop just pushing out roll after roll

Some of the best sushi and nigiri that I’ve had in the Louisville (if not the overall best)! Worth the price you pay with the portions being so generous. I’m not a huge fan of sake, but my husband liked it when we ordered it. But I also love how they have so many other options outside of sushi just in case you’re craving something a little different. We’ve tried several rolls in the past, but Thunder Over Louisville is by far my favorite! We’ve also ordered to-go and the sushi came well wrapped and prepared. Still just as good as if we were eating in.

We were greeted immediately and seated. Had water within seconds. Our server was fast and efficient with food, clearing keeping our drinks full. The sushi here is fresh and tasty! I also highly recommend the veggie tempura! You won't be disappointed.

I got the spicy eel roll and edamame. The roll was really good but there was no spice. The roll came out before the edamame but it's hard to complain about that. The staff was extremely pleasant and attentive. Parking spots are definitely tight but do-able. Recommend going back!

The Derby City Roll was delightful and delicious. I got a house salad and the ginger dressing was maybe the tastiest I’ve ever experienced. Service was excellent, and cheerful Thanks!

The food here is so delicious and fresh. I was greeted and seated quickly at the sushi bar and enjoyed watching the skilled preparations. My portions were huge and I would recommend ordering one roll for two people if you are having any additional items. Lots of great choices on the menu.

We had a wonderful dinner at Oiishi tonight. The staff were so friendly. We ordered agedashi tofu, sakura roll, a seafood medley stir fry, and yosenabe noodle soup. It was all delicious. The soup was perfectly light and soothing for a rainy chilly night. :) The restaurant is quiet, cozy, and clean.

The hand roll was highly recommended by my server. They were kind and multiple servers stopped by to check on us. The sushi is my favorite sushi in Louisville! The hand roll was delicious and something different I'd never had before but so good! I can't wait to go back!

Hands down the beat sushi in Louisville. I know many will disagree with me here but if you want a clean, no-fuss, no-wait family friendly dining experience that doesn't break the bank, go to Oiishi. Their service and quality is comsistently great! The variety on the menu is amazing. Carry out its packaged well so that carry out tastes as amazing as dining in. My favorites rolls are the Fire Cracker, the Cardinal Roll and the UK Roll. Definitely check this place out if you are in the Bowman Field area. I challenge you to find anything better than Oiishi!

This place has the best fish in town for sure. Their sashimi is amazing, I have to fight my 6 year old daughter for my food .

Best sushi in Louisville!! And to be honest, it's the best sushi I've ever had period and I've traveled allot and been to many sushi places! And on top of that, the rolls are huge so you get more for your money. The only downfall of this place is parking and there is always a wait. But I guess that means they are that good! Love oishi!
