First time eating here came strictly by other reviews. First appearance was lil disappointing but once we ordered they promptly prepared all fresh pizzas which have great flavor and appearance the toppings were more along the line of what you'd get a gattis . Drinks were included in the price 3 all you can eat buffets were $36. Very friendly staff nice local spot for good pizza and calm clean open atmosphere.

Keep in mind that some pizzas might be salty for certain tastes, and fruit toppings like pineapple are not available.
I have only been here for the buffet, but dang. This place is incredible. A large variety of pizzas for such a small bar and they have pasta options, dessert, salad, and a soup! I love coming here because the staff is so welcoming, the tables are clean, they never run out of plates, the pizza is hot, and the food is amazing. I think they have the perfect amount of cheese on their pizza and it’s quality cheese. You really cannot find a better deal for the quality of the food anywhere else. This place is doing it right!
Was out running errands with my wife and saw Fat Jimmy's Buffet. We decided to stop for lunch and give them a try. My wife's garden salad was huge. She loved it. I opted for the pizza buffet and was not disappointed. There were many choices available and I tried most of them. They also had garlic butter bread balls as well as sweet bread balls. Excellent! I will stop again the next time I'm in Middletown
We love the buffet at Fat Jimmy's! The pizza is consistently delicious, the salad ingredients are fresh, and don't forget to try the tasty Taco soup and the yummy sweet balls.
Family-friendly staff. Nothing fancy about the restraunt, but it's clean.

As a customer, the food is consistently great! They have a buffet, a drive-thru, eat-in, carry-out, and a picnic table out front... lots of choices! Food options include salads, subs, pastas, pizzas and a buffet (where the food's actually tasty & you can request a pizza type)!! Tonight, before heading home, I stopped by to say hey and pick up a 14" Tito and a 14" All Meat.
As a former employee (18 or so years ago/a past life), the owner is top notch!! It's a family friendly establishment where the owner truly cares about the employees, customers and community.
If you're looking for a local, small business to support, look no further. The food is great & the atmosphere is even better!
Tasty for a buffet meal...good variety of pizza, nice salad, breadsticks & garlic knots. The guy running the place was greeting all his customers, bussing tables, great customer service which is hard to find anymore. Nice price including soft drink...$12.
The place was packed! That’s always a good indication for what to expect. The stall was friendly and very active keeping tables clean for new customers to have a place to sit. The buffet was always full of fresh pizzas, that were delicious! I left stuffed. Great value!
Was googling inexpensive places to eat out Middletown and Fat Jimmy's popped up. I'd passed it several times but never went inside.
I didn't know what to expect but I was beyond satisfied. The restaurant & buffet line are extremely clean. The staff was very friendly and prompt. Most of the buffet was full, and when I asked for something to be refilled it was done quickly.
I tried the pepperoni, bacon ranch & veggie pizzas. The veggie was my favorite. The sweet balls are amazing.
The only suggestion I have is maybe having some grilled chicken available to add to the alfredo. Other than that everything was very fresh and tasted great.
Consistently awesome! Great food, Friendly staff and fair prices. The place is always clean. Done the buffet and take out many times and never disappointed
FYI: it takes me about 30 minutes to drive there.
It was very clean there. The cashier was very professional and friendly. The food was delicious and fresh. The pizza was a small batch, and cooked with care. The pizza selection was small and basic, which is better and what I prefer. Most importantly, I didn't have to worry about mushrooms. I'm definitely coming back soon, cause it's worth the money and trip!
It was very good! The place was clean, and staff friendly! The food was delicious. Lots of different types of pizza, pepperoni, Hawaiian, 3 meat, chicken bacon ranch, beef, and more! They even had taco soup, and a nice salad bar.
We really enjoy Fat Jimmy's! Staff are so friendly and the food is good. We tend to go at popular times, so seating can be tight on those occasions. Buffet prices are a great deal for families!

This was my first time here in probably 2 years. The restaurant is following all Covid-19 protocols. Each customer gets a plastic tong with their new plate on each buffet trip. It felt completely safe and the pizza was good. All employees and customers were wearing masks which is A+ in my book. Everything was clean as well. I actually mentioned these different things I liked and appreciated to one of the employees and he was very happy and gracious that I complimented him and the restaurant in general. I'll try to come back again soon.
EDIT -- I returned today June 11, 2021 and my experience was completely different. The covid protocols are gone. The pizza was old and dried out on the buffet. Tables were all back some of which were filthy. A school team of teenagers came in and was taking pieces of pizza of the buffet with their hands instead of tongs which is nasty and unsanitary especially now. Nobody was wearing a face mask or covering except for me. My opinion of this place has changed completely. I will never be back after today.
Fat Jimmys is what CiCis wish they were, good food pleasant envrionment. No kids screaming. Seeing the owner run the register and take care of the lobby was impressive. Excellent work ethic. Will be returning
We were on vacation and looked at the ratings so they were good. This place was amazing. Pizza was great drink included with the buffet and the salad was very fresh. I would highly recommend this restaurant if you're looking for a pizza buffet with a local owner
Best pizza buffet in Louisville. Love the salad bar (tons of awesome veggies, dressings and fresh shredded cheese) the huge variety of pizzas, and the sweet balls for dessert! The staff is constantly clearing tables and wiping down buffet surfaces. We drive about twenty minutes just to come here because it’s such a fun family treat! Keep up the great work Jimmy and crew - don’t change a thing!!
