If you're in Louisville you must stop by Big Bar, which despite the name is actually not that big. Big Bar is the home of RuPaul's Drag Race alumni Dusty Ray Bottoms. Come for the drag show and you're bound to have a great time. No cover before 10 PM. Definitely come before 10 because you might be a bit disappointed if you have to pay cover.

I dont drink and am not a member of the lgtbq+ community but am a supporter. Also my foance drinks, she likes this bar, they are friendly but often are packed. Bartenders do a great job of accomating requests, and prices are very good compared to other bars near by.
Super sweet bartenders. Fast too! Love the play on words I. The bars name. The first bar in the place is actually tiny. But there are two of them! Cool DJs. Nice vibe. The power stations for ur phone is a lively touch. Def a hang out place !
First time going here and was on a date! Best place I have ever been too! I loved the atmosphere and how the place is laid out! Even met owner and he was a hoot! Can’t wait to come more often!!!
We had the best time and service here yesterday for the pride event ! Jordan was our bartender and not only was he fast he also made a damn good drink ! We will go back ! The scenery inside was making the other bars feel boring ! We kept ending up right back here !
I have a hobby of taking pictures next to kitschy large objects, so I obviously made my husband U-turn when I saw a bunch of GIANT lamps outside Big Bar. Our friend and local guide explained that its actually ironic name because its tiny inside, which was the icing on the cake. The bartender was sassy and fun and made a delicious happy hour Moscow mule.

Has become my go to place for goodtimes overall. GREAT people, staff and the renovations they've done are fantastic. Now with a dance floor and balcony. Little bar with a small club atmosphere and a big heart ❤️

The crowd was usually a mix of different people and personalities that all respect one another’s uniqueness. Everyone is always welcoming and friendly, which is the perfect start to a great night! Can’t forget the awesome bartender and drinks!
Big bar is an excellent bar to visit on Bardstown Road. Drinks are reasonavly prices and strong. Innaddtition to the interior space, Big Bar has excellent outdoor/sidewalk seating, which has patio heaters and seeming open and populated year round.
Big Bar is now even bigger bar with the incorporation of additional space. It has added a nice dance floor and overlooking loft area and I believe a second bathroom. The crowd is always lively, fun and most importantly accepting and non-threatening. The patrons are predominantly from the LGBTQ+ community but it is also a mixed crowd and all kind people are welcomed. I believe anyone would enjoy visiting Big Bar
Big Bar is a wonderful place! The space is colorful with rainbow lights, and they have tons of drink specials! Every bartender I’ve had has been super kind, and we have had some great conversations! I’ve let them create me some fun new cocktails and they’ve all been fantastic! The owner is charitable and supports local causes throughout our community! They also have many fun themed nights. My friends and I had a great experience at a karaoke night here!
