La Mexicana - Louisville - Photo album

Small typical Taqueira. Always served warm, always served fresh. I like their tacos de loma (ribeye) carnitas (pork)and carne asada (steak). The Torres are worth ordering as well, but come hungry they are very filing. Watch your time if you you’re in a hurry, they get hit by the working mans lun
Excellent tacos. Highly recommend. They don't skimp on the ingredients, either. Menudo smelled amazing.
Good burritos for lunch. Friendly and authentic. No chips or salsa with it. My wife and I paid about $25 for both of us plus tips. That's a tad high, but seems like restaurant food is more costly in most locations now.
I randomly searched Mexican restaurants nearby and decided on this one. I was a bit skeptical based on the location but to my surprise the food was awesome. Best steak quesadillas I've had. The green sauce is amazing and pleasant customer service. My Spanish is limited but I was not uncomfortable. W
Best authentic Mexican food in all of Louisville Kentucky
My favorite Mexican in town- much better than the flashier spots, and even my favorite of the many good places on Preston. In addition to burritos & tacos etc the pozole is delicious. Service is excellent and quick too.
Good food, authentic tacos! Would love to have chips/salsa when I dine in, though. Pros: Tasty food made really quickly. Cons: Limited menu; it's basically tacos, quesadillas, and burritos. They give you bottled water if you ask for tap (and charge for it). They don't have a soda fountain - j
Great place to swing in for a nice dish, I asked them to separate it for me so I could reheat it at work. Done, 5 hours later thirty something seconds of micro time through the rest together! Nice view aswell!
I LOVE this place. Always get the pollo tacos or the Steak Quesadillas. The green sauce is soo good. Sometimes it's hot, sometimes it's way hot. Love it all the same :)
The ceviche is very good but they only have it on Sunday and it goes fast so get there early. The tacos are okay, a little on the small side but their red sauce sucks, get the green.
We ordered the burrito and quesadilla, my boyfriend enjoyed every bit of the quesadilla lol and my grandma loved the steak burrito. Quick service, fresh ingredients and reasonable pricing. We’ll be back to try the chicken burrito and tortas.
Probably one of the best mexican places i have been to. We ordered chicken tacos, chicken quesadilla and beef burritos. The food was hot and very fresh. We took ours togo and still very hot when we got home. Very authenitic! Employees and staff very nice. Establishment was very clean! I will definit
Great place. My favorites are the Burrito al Carbon and the Torta cubano. Plus hot sauces are delicious ! Service is always quick and friendly. Best burritos in town!
Always amazing! I wish they would serve chips and salsa, guacamole, and margaritas. Again the tacos are amazing and the soup is great too!
The food is always good and the service is excellent as always I've been going there for about 11 yrs now and they got the best food intown
Probably the best tacos in the city, but kind of expensive. Really tiny little spot. Great service. I’ll be back for sure.
Probably the best taqueria within hundreds of miles, this place never disappoints. Hugely authentic and equally welcoming, it's easily worth the trip out to an otherwise nondescript strip mall.
