The food and service were great. The area we were seated in is bright and spacious. Food came quickly. The strata and biscuits and gravy were excellent. The breakfast potatoes were alright but a little on the dry/underseasoned side. Our server was fast, friendly, and checked in plenty while still giving us space for our conversation. And prices were very reasonable! We'll definitely be coming back.

Nice place to visit in Paristown while you're checking out other activities in the area. The food looks great and tastes good overall; some things are over seasoned and some under seasoned. They'd probably be better with a smaller menu and everything under $20. Their standard sandwiches, entrees, and desserts are well done but some have an extra unnecessary ingredient. Our waitress was overwhelmed, but it worked out because we were planning to take our time. Highly recommended from neighborhood friends.

My husband and I absolutely love this place! We come here for brunch all the time and always order the huevos rancheros and the biscuits and gravy. Both dishes are delicious but the biscuits and gravy are to die for! Decent portions and decent prices! The atmosphere is casual and the staff has always been very friendly. We highly recommend!

Delicious food!!! I really love the cheese beignets. I also enjoyed the salmon! The one thing I think I could complain about but isn't really a big deal was that the music was messed up. It would play one song, turn off for 5 minutes only to play the same song again. I think that can be fixed though, everything else spot on!!

Great place for a quick bite. The food was delicious. The roasted veggie sandwich was awesome. The chicken salad sandwich was huge. The service was excellent and the place is very clean.

My son just moved to Louisville and I stopped in to check out his new place. In doing so he wanted to try someplace new and suggested giving The Cafe a try. When we arrived where the restaurant is located it was already a cool setting overall. The restaurant also has a Stoneware retail store attached to it. We had about 15m to wait and we spent it on this store. Once we got seated near the Bar we ordered the food. Much of the menu is what would typically be simple foods that are made much more unique and with different flavors than typical. Within our group (son, daughter, future daughter in law, myself) we ordered the Cubano, Chicken Sandwich, Chicken Salad sandwich and topped it off with Sweet Potato sweet rolls. Everything was fantastic. If you're looking for a great place to get a great sandwich this would be someplace I would try.

I don't know why I don't come here more often, the food here is delicious! The serve Breakfast all day and huge slices of cake and bread pudding for dessert what's not to love about that!! This time we tried the Hot Brown Tots appetizer, it's huge and a great twist on a true Kentucky classic. Service has been great both times I visited. I will definitely be back for more of the French toast baguettes!

Literally some of the best food I've ever eaten. 1000% recommend getting the hot brown, but it was all delicious

Visited The Cafe for a jazz show featuring Lee Puckett Group. Nice venue, intimate, good ambience. Ordered some food, was decent. Food and drink menus have a lot to offer.

Not going to lie, this place was a bit overrated. I first checked in, there was a solid amount of tables but had to wait to make sure none of the reservations came. Finally after 15 minutes I was able to be seated. Kinda took another 10 minutes to check in with me for my order too. I ordered a Hot Brown and a shot of Double Oak Barrel Woodford Reserve. The Hot Brown portion was a bit smaller than most restaurants. It was still good taste wise, the sauce was money. Overall it's a cool vibe but it just seemed to chaotic to really enjoy.

I came to The Cafe in search of a great Benedictine sandwich. Their twist on a classic did not disappoint. A little difficult to eat but tasty non the less. A very ample serving as well. Delicious and creamy. The fries were not fresh however and that was a little disappointing. Server was attentive , there was a mixup and I waited almost 15 min for anyone to take my order but once that got resolved service was good.

The presentation of the food was excellent. Everything was cooked to perfection and the mimosa was delicious. I was actually surprised by the prices because the place feels so upscale once you go inside. Oh and by the way there is a gift shop that your friends and family will love. So definitely check that out before you leave the place

We just took a group of tired, hungry high school students to The Cafe as a last-minute plan when our original plan changed. It’s not easy to accommodate 16 people, and a large group of teens isn’t always the most welcome sight, but the staff was incredible. They seated us quickly, and then our fabulous server, Harry, provided some of the best service I’ve ever had. He was gracious, efficient, accommodating to the requests of our large group, and he went out of his way to make it a great experience. The food was delicious, the prices were very reasonable, and the ambience was great - the industrial loft feel and French cafe accents, the live music (the clarinet and piano were a great combo!), and the beautiful bar as a backdrop. I highly recommend checking out this somewhat hidden gem!

My soul sister was in from Texas, and we came to one of my favorite restaurants for brunch! It did not disappoint! The food was super yummy as always! The best part of our dining experience was our server, Harry! He did not miss a beat… He was ahead of the game on absolutely everything! At the end, he brought us a piece of red velvet cake and told my friend welcome home baby! She use to live here! Red velvet cake is my favorite and he did not know that! Harry said that he saw our friendship and needed to send us a blessing! Harry is one of the best servers I have ever had.. he made the whole dining experience, very special and amazing!

The Louisville hot brown was great! The fried green tomatoes and calamari were excellent starters but that hot brown. Delicious. The spaghetti and meatballs were amazing also. Great food and experience for my first time there. When I’m back in the area, I definitely need to go back.

I love this place. Breakfast, brunch, and dinner here are great. My favorite thing on the menu is the Southern Grits Scramble. For people who are fans of grits, I highly recommend getting it, it's fantastic. Their cakes are also seriously delicious and the slices are huge. The staff is friendly and service is great. Dinner comes with a piano player near the bar, very chill atmosphere.

The menu selection was awesome. There were so many good choices. Service was friendly and welcoming. Our waitress/bar tender heard us day Happy Birthday and she brought our brother a HUGE, free slice of amazingly delicious peanut butter cake! Definitely will be back!
