Open discrimination against the poor. There have been notices on the doors that the EBT system has been down for as long as I can remember. Emails with guest services claim it has been down for about six months--I believe it has been far longer. Even if they are correct, there is no excuse for a system that lower income households rely on so heavily to be down for this long except a complete apathy or outright distaste toward the poor. It's shameful to have a company in our community that cares so little for those who need the most compassion from us.

it's a good market, fresh produce, good meat selection, some interesting brands, helpful staff.
At one time you'd ask, how is this place still open? The shelves are well stocked, prices are at Whole Paycheck levels, and it's never busy. We now know, the parent company is leaching money and closing stores. Fingers crossed they can keep this one open, shop while you can, you'll miss it when it's gone.

I love this place! Great quality foods and great tasting prepared foods. They don't charge you for non-dairy milks at the coffee bar. I have felt safer shopping here during the pandemic than anywhere else so I'll go out of my way to come here.
Also, they have free disposable gloves when you come in the store. Now that's customer service!

Alfalfa’s deserves a 10 star rating on a 5 star scale IMHO. The staff is friendly, the organic produce is beautiful (consistently) and the products in the rest of the store are thoughtfully chosen. I feel I can easily make healthy choices at Alfalfa’s and still enjoy delicious foods. The deli and Sushi bar are my favorite. Thank you Alfalfa’s for all you have done to help keep us safe (and your staff safe) during the Covid pandemic. You all make a difference.

Great selection. Fruit and veg is well sourced. I get the week old strawberries regularly and they don't get moldy which in my mind proves the food isn't sitting in a storage facility for a long time before getting to the store. Staff are friendly and helpful. Really love this grocery store.

Having just moved here from the Pacific Northwest, I have been searching for a great little local grocer that focuses on (a) local farms (b) sustainability and (c) quality, and Alfalfa's seems to fit the niche well. It's by far the best grocery store I've been to so far. I especially appreciate their bulk section, which seems to be one of the best I've used (not a lot of places have bulk sumac, but they did!). I also fully recognize that this store may not be the store a person always goes to--it does cost more to produce more thoughtfully and sustainably meat and produce--but I encourage anyone who is on the fence to start trying to work it into your grocery shopping. Your local farmers will thank you.

Love the salad bar in Louisville and in Boulder taste so fresh and love the juice bar. Try the fresh squeezed orange juice. So nice to get fresh produce at both places. My favorite place to shop

sells vegan mushroom gravy in the prepared foods, yet has mashed potatoes with milk 😡
so I guess vegans just get gravy for dinner.
your vegan options need work.

So sad because they have some wonderful products. Last 2 times I went to the Boulder store, It was 5 min. Before they were supposed to shut down the hot bar and salad bars . The hot bar and deli were already completely cleaned up and gone and the salad bar was on its way. If it's SUPPOSED to be open until 8:00 , then don't start tearing things down until 8.
Big signs at Louisville store about lower pricing, went in for one perticular item I knew they would have , $ 1.49 HIGHER than anyplace else that carries it. Sorry but your prices are still high.

I work as a Nutrition Consultant and Alfalfas is the best source of truly healthy food in the Boulder Valley! Hands down. Food is fuel!

Beautiful produce, great cheeses, and was able to find the teff flour I was looking for. Reminds me of a small Wholefoods without the students. And without having to scramble for a parking spot. The salad bar looked very nice as did the deli. I will be back.

They carry a good brand of organic chicken but have no clue what they're doing as butchers: I asked the butcher to cut the chicken into 16 pieces for a buffet — if I'd picked out a toddler and given him a machete the results couldn't have been worse. This $4/lb chicken was hacked up: large pieces of breast, tops of drumsticks chopped off, bits of meat and skin trailing. I was the only customer so it wasn't like I'd asked for something difficult when they were busy. If you can't perform the basic functions of a butcher just say so! Expensive miscalculation on my part: back to Whole Foods!

I'm writing to let you know how much I appreciate the good people at Alfalfas in Louisville. In particular I want to write about Morgane who does my home deliveries and so much more. I have chronic leukemia and find it difficult to drive very far. Morgane brings me all the organic food I need to heal myself and I'm so grateful for the high quality of the food and how much it nourishes me. But Morgane brings me something else as well. She is extremely conscientious about everything she does, answers way too many questions that I throw at her every week (and never complaiins about it) and she's always cheerful. I look forward to my home delivery days knowing that this bright and kind person will be coming to my home and adding something positive to my day. Thank you Alfalfas for what you do and thank you Morgane for being such a big part of it.
