WOW! This place provides a fantastic public service! If my husband ever disappears, I now know where to find him!! I could not be happier with this meal! Amazing, delicious, Italian in little Loveland, served authentically! Add the option for low carb zucchini noodles, and I am in heaven! � I ordered a half-sized dish, from which I still took home a lunch portion. You read right, huge, scrumptious portions!! The prices are right for the very generous, and delectable meal you receive! Whatever is in the oil and basalmic vinegar for dipping my bread, should be illegal! YUM! Dessert was not short value either... look at this dang tiramisu! It's huge and correctly delicious! Not overly sweet, it's exactly like someone intentionally poured their confectioners' love right onto the plate! Perfectly complimented by the espresso, as it was planned. Ah! I can't say enough good! Our server was amazing, we literally have NO negative feedback. Thank you so much for bringing such a great thing to our town! ���

Slate is just spectacular and a HUGE breath of fresh air for me. My stomping grounds growing up were PA/NY/NJ. I moved to Colorado 10 years ago and my endless complaint with Italian food here in Colorado is that there is always too much going on. ``Why the %^$& is there bbq sauce and cilantro on my pizza?" ``Why is there garlic AND onion AND shallot AND fennel AND celery in the same pasta dish? How many alliums can we possibly cram into one pan?" Italian food is a cuisine of simplicity and harmony. The absolutely gorgeous menu Slate put together shows they understand this. They get playful and experiment in ways that don't disrupt the perfection of the classic dishes they are recreating. Their wine list is also lovely and they have great pairings for all their entrees. Thank you thank you thank you Slate for giving me what I grew up with! Besides the food, I can also say that the service has been fantastic. They create a very classy yet comfortable environment... I've popped in for a quick lunch in the middle of a workday, and also lingered for 2.5hours on a date with my girlfriend Faith Mata. The servers are really good at recognizing which you're in for and either expediting your meal or not rushing you out. This is our new favorite place to eat! Thanks for everything Chris!

We took the family Monday night for a birthday celebration and the food was excellent. The server's and atmosphere were fantastic. Would highly recommend. Also had great gluten free options.

the eatery is small but has great atmosphere and is very itiment . Service was very prompt and warm and friendly. The menu was well presented as were the selections. Every dish was prepared and presented well. Sauces were tasty psta was cooked perfectly. Would go again for dinner.

I loved my dinner tonight. I had a glass of Pinot Grigio, two glasses of tonic water with lime, a couple of pieces of bread with dipping oil, and the bolognese. I will have enough food for dinner tomorrow. My mother had Shrimp with Alfredo sauce. She thought it was excellent. If you're watching your carbs or sodium, the zucchini noodles were a decent substitute. There were other food items for the lactose intolerant crowd, as well.

Loved the food and the atmosphere, although the waitress did not know how to serve a nice bottle of wine... at all.
