Sad, just sad. The cashier was polite and professional. The kitchen staff, not so much. Yelling and profanity coming from the kitchen, not good for business. The fish and chicken was so salty it was not edible. The corn and green beans had been sitting in a warmer for so long they tasted burnt.
Sometimes when you go there the food is hot but most of the time it's not. Their customer service skills are lacking and I don't think they really care. Food tasted decent but the inside was filthy. The floors had a layer of grease on them because they were slippery. It did not smell clean. We would have gone someplace else but didn't have time.
We don't have any Long John Silvers anywhere around where I live. So when we drove by and this one was open we were thrilled!! We've gotten stuff to go almost every time we've been in Lubbock. So awesome!!
Quick drive-thru. Accurate order. Not like the store on 50th & I-27. I used to live, close to the latter store, and orders would take almost 15 min. This store, took less than 6, AND got my order correctly.
They were short staffed like so many other places these days. That being considered, they did really well getting my food to me. Just what I expect from LJS.
