Okay so if you're used to NYC or NJ pizza, this isn't it. Get that out of the way first and foremost. Now that you've done that...this place is really good. On this trip we got the loaded cheese sticks, cheesesteak pizza, and the taste of Italy pizza
The cheese sticks were good. Basically like a smaller pizza unsauced topped with cheese, bacon, and jalapeno with sauce on the side. It was a nice combo and they were crispy.
The cheesesteak pizza was very good. Huge pie and even though the dough is not like the city at all, I still really enjoy it. It's not like the difference between NYC pizza to Chicago or anything that drastic...it's just different. A ton of cheesesteak meat and other toppings.
The Tasty of Italy also had really good flavor. There were A LOT of sun dried tomatoes on this one. I know many people who would be thrilled about that, I took probably half of them off. Still a very good pie.
We have been back since, i'll write an update soon. Got some different things that time around.
This was my first time going to Mariano's and it won't be my last. I had the Buffalo Chicken wrap and it was very good, especially for the price. I'm looking forward to trying their pizza next time!
Personally (everybody is different), I love this place.
The appetizers, the interchangeability of the menu, the family owned and operated + friends of the family staff is impressive and sweet. The fact they all like and love each other + love their customers is another.
Their menu is pretty damn good! Personally I like the cheap drinks made to what I asked (I watched) and the meals deserve their own review. Not every single thing is spectacular, but most everything you'll try is damn good (idk about wings, not a fan of em). Southwestern Wrap/Roll/Pizza is my favorite.
The only Con is that they have young waitresses that can't always serve alcohol but the others that can more than make up for it.
If your ever in the area, give Mariano's a try. It'll be worth your while or call me a liar here on Google. Go ahead, I'm up for it.
Great food, but a children's outing made it quite noisy. Quite busy, but great pizza
Really good pizza. Would rate it as highly as any I have had in North Jersey or Chicagoland.
The food was excellent. I was able to order a salad & my husband ordered the calzone. The service was terrific also. The only reason I reduced my rating was because at the time we went it was very loud. Two flag football teams came in to celebrate their final victory of the season! So this is obviously not the fault of the restaurant, just my lousy timing! However, my husband is a deputy and we were meeting for lunch while he was on duty. So the waitress put our order in first realizing he had a time limit. It all worked out great and he gave badges to all the kids, so everyone was happy!
Love rhe pizza's. And believe me you have not lived until you've had there lasagna. Gret service and good food. Can't be beat. 10/10 I'd love to go again.
First time eating in new location. Was 30 mins before closing on a Monday. Did not feel rushed at all. Waitstaff and food were excellent. Eating my leftover now... 😋
