We love our tasting menu experiences and try to do one once a year and each one is so unique and different they really cannot be compared. What stood out for this place is:
1. The staff! The second we met the first face they were friendly, vibrant, engaged

Hands down best meal of life. Most unique hyper local ingredients served by happy, fun, and laid back staff (who do everything right). Worth the money, the planning to get a reservation and the drive. So much better than any M starred restaurant.
If the Local Guides rating system had a special extra star, reserved just for those incredible moments and once in a lifetime experiences, this would be that experience!

We absolutely loved our dinner and stay here. The 12-course menu was a delight. Extremely knowledgeable and friendly staff everywhere here and they make you feel so welcome. We had dinner and breakfast the day after. The smoked salmon was by far the best I have ever had. Loved all the seafood dishes
Extremely expensive, but they do make it a special experience every night. Well over a dozen courses of local greens and just-caught seafood, presented in fun and creative ways. It had been some years since we’ve been to Willows but our experience this summer exceeded our already high expectations. Attention to detail, service and wonderfully prepared food are only equaled by the spectacular setting! This is food on another level.
Truly one of the best, if not the best, dining experiences I have ever had. From the journey to get there, the wait staff, the dedication to local ingredients, to the absolutely incredible food and wine pairing - you cannot miss this. Truly a treasure. A meal you’ll remember to be sure!
A superb world class restaurant on a remote island off the coast. Precise execution of 15 or so courses perfectly cooked. I suggest a slightly slower pace because the portion sizes can be large. World renowned chef Blaine doesn't disappoint. The food is great and amazingly presented. The experience is a must. If you have a large party, definitely try to be seated in the private dining area, it elevates the entire experience to what feels like a catered dinner in your own home.
