Not that great chicken was cold. Fried potatoes were burnt. They don't accept credit cards only cash or check so that's not very helpful because most people don't carry cash anymore.

Love the baked chicken and rolls
Irene has been feeding people like family for ages: great Southern food, with huge helpings, served simply. Breakfast and lunch are equally good. Though what keeps me coming back is her Thursdays-only meatloaf. I'm drooling just thinking about it.
Irene's food is the stuff of dreams. Her bacon egg & potatoes platter (with a biscuit) is my favorite. Sometimes a long line but well worth the wait.
