Trying to decide between great food, great atmosphere and great live music? Cask & Trotter has it all. Like whiskey? They have a dazzling selection! And the family vibe and friendly staff makes this my favorite place in all of Lynnwood! Go with the boys for pool, or come with my wife for dinner and live music!! Kid friendly (if you feel like bringing them along).
Great food and super friendly staff I would recommend anything on the menu
Happy Belly food. Everything was great. Folks, they smoke their pastrami, everything. This is my new happy place.
Love the food and atmosphere! perfect place for BBQ and cheesy goodness. Jonathon is an amazing server with great personality. 10 stars in my book. will come again to try everything!!!
Great food & Service! Fun sports atmosphere too. Will definitely recommend and return.
Went to the Lynnwood store with my daughter today. What a great little spot. I had brisket and my daughter had bbq ribs. Both were awesome. Sides were great. Service was awesome!
We haven't tried the BBQ, but the chicken waffles and breakfast burrito were spot on
the staff were there when you needed them and the coffee was hot and flowing
Excellent service and good food. The dry rub wings were amazing!
Ribs and slider were awesome!
Friendly staff nice whiskey selection and Steve knows his whiskey!!
Best Pastrami Sandwich I've ever had! Garlic mashed potatoes were very delicious, but could use more garlic. Mac and cheese was cheesy and delicious as well! Highly recommend!
Hands down the best BBQ in the area π Great service and a good spot to catch football π
The BBQ sundae is amazing! You pick your type of meat and 2 sides.
The pork grinds are probably one of the best we've had with the Sriracha power that adds just the right amount of flavor.
The sweet potato tots are crispy & perfectly cooked.
The Reuben is delicious!
Amazing BBQ and bourbon selection! Had the brisket poutine, brisket sliders and finished with their special house aged tequila Old Fashioned! Thank you Liz for the recommendations!
Good food and service. Extensive whiskey selection. Restaurant plus big bar with pool table and lounging area with couch. The brownie sundae was huge and very tasty. Brisket BBQ bowl was visually unappealing but tasted great with warm sides of mac and cheese and succotash. Seems the bowl is comprised of smaller bits of brisket that wouldn't be fitting for a BBQ plate. Brisket tasted good and was well cooked. Excellent corn bread muffins. Truffle fries and half artichoke apps were unimpressive. Overall an enjoyable dining experience.
Just swung by this place to try their truffles friea, because I love truffe fries, and will order them anytime they are available.
I don't have much to say, well because we just got truffle fries, but the fries themselves were decent. Like the texture on them was pretty good, as well as the coloring, but there was not a lot of truffle... at all. There was also not a lot of parmesan, or parsely sprinkled on the fries either. I know this is more of a barbeque place, but I'm judging this purely off of the fries. But yeah, the fries were just alright. Some fries would have no aroma or presence of truffle, while when I did get some truffle presence, it was very minimal.
Overall, it was alright, but I would give this place another chance to try their more popular items, but for me, the fries were a no-go.
My favorite BBQ restaurant. I like to start off with the dry rub chicken wings, smokey and crispy goodness. They have 3 homemade BBQ sauces to choose from, sweet, spicy and Carolina. I generally get the 2 meat combo with Ribs and Brisket both smoked to perfection. That gets you 2 sides which is the toughest choice. Each side option is scratch made and delicious. I have tried everything on the menu and it is all good.
Outstanding whisky selection. I didn't expect to be nearly as blown away by the quality of the food as I was. The brisket dip is very delicious and you can tell it's all done fresh-in-house. The sauces are pretty nice and you can buy them for enjoying at home. The fries are very good, and they give you a lot.
I had the wings, the old man had the french dip. Was some pretty amazing food. I loved the atmosphere, clean, bathrooms were maintained well. Meals were proportionate and well seasoned. Great pour on the screwdriver and our server/bartender Ryan was attentive and handled every want we had. The whiskey selection is large as well. John the kitchen manager sure did an excellent job. Will be back for sure.
We had a great dinner, the barbecue was awesome! The service was great too.
Beers were served cold and a couple of us had a Manhattan and it was mixed perfectly. They have a great bar with top-notch liquors.
The brisket was great, good smoke, good bark, and the fat was rendered perfectly. Pulled pork was awesome, good bark, nice and smoky, and perfect tenderness. Smoked chicken was really good too, good smoke, tasted great, and was cooked perfectly.
We had a bunch of sides, garlic mashed potatoes, creamy coleslaw, tangy coleslaw, barbecue baked beans, mac and cheese, and cornbread. Standouts for me was the creamy coleslaw, garlic mashed potatoes, mac and cheese.
Bread pudding for dessert was homemade and wonderful.
One of the few barbecue joints in the PNW I've been to where I was happy to spend the money and would come back and do it again.
