Huge portions of yummy terriaki chicken for decent price. It's a small Mom & Pop Cafe that's been around many years. Give them a try.
Good place to come for a quick bite. The service is good and so is that wait time. Has a variety of choices of food and drinks. The bathroom and food area seem clean. The place is never really crowded but the only problem is that there is an echo and it gets loud when people talk.
Great little hidden mom and pop teriyaki place tucked off the corner of Martha Lake I wouldn't have found without making a wrong turn. I am very happy I did stumble upon this house turned teriyaki restaurant, they have reasonable prices, super tasty beef & pork teriyaki and damn good bubble tea.
I used to like their "House Fried Rice" w/ beef, chicken and shrimp. They also make good gyoza and teriyaki. They offer free green tea and egg flower soup to all customers. You can now have them delivered via Uber, which is cool. Locals frequent this place for a quick, filling bite.
They lost a star from me bc for some inexplicable reason they have started putting green beans, corn and limas into the fried rice. It's weird and I don't like it. It used to have (and traditionally has) just peas, carrots, egg, bean sprouts, maybe grn onion, and meat. I wish they'd just buy the pea/carrot frozen mix and not the every vegetable under the sun one. Also I'd like it if they offered BBQ pork.
The food and service is awesome and portions well worth the price.
I frequent this place for multiple reasons. The wait time in the evenings is very short, 10 minutes most times. Prices are great, and the portions are hefty. The spicy chicken has a TON of actual chili flavor and isn't just packed full of lava like some places do. The prices for sides are very enticing as well, and they are all worth it. I've more or less had the entire menu and easily give 5 stars to this hidden gem.
I didn't have time to snap a photo because I couldn't stop slamming food into my face long enough... nom nom nom....
