The ladies who run this place are so sweet and nice! What can I say about the popcorn other than it is amazing and delicious!! You will have a hard time finding more variety than here. They have the best assortment of old candies and interesting drinks too. Gun Barrel City is blessed to have this fantastic store.
I have been in there three days in a row this week, with some crazy and urgent orders and they filled them with no issues! I love their entire staff and highly encourage people to give them a try for gifts, snacks for young ones, or just a guilty pleasure! If I could give them 10 stars I would!��

This place is AWESOME! So much fun, tons of taffy and vintage candy as well as homemade fudge and about 50 different flavors of popcorn. They're not stingy with the samples either. :)

My husband brought me some JJ popcorn from his recent trip.... I ate it all in one setting! Nacho popcorn was amazing! So was the Southwest! The Dr Pepper popcorn was crazy awesome!! Need some more popcorn soon!

Bought my mom who is a diabetic some sugar free fudge for Mothers Day. My mom said it was the best she's ever had!!! Not only do they have the best pop corn but apparently fudge too! Thank you Jalopy Joe's for making this Mother's Day an easy one for me!!!

They are awesome! Toni and Tonya are amazing and they will make whatever you can dream of; of whatever they can dream of. I am new to the area and they have made me feel so welcome. They have made us some precious gift baskets for out of town guests for a party and everyone has commented on how awesome they were. I will probably do more for Christmas; support local economy and an amazing family; win-win for everyone. Not to mention the loaded baked potato popcorn is the best! Can't say enough about this business.... :)
Although I no longer live at the lake, every time I'm in town visiting family this is a guaranteed stop during my trip. Popcorn is much better than several I've tried in the DFW metroplex, and the ladies are always courteous and quick.

Excellent popcorn and a huge variety of flavors. Popcorn makes the best gifts!! Top level customer service too. I drove from Corsicana and arrived a few minutes after closing. I was met with an open door, smiling faces and free samples.
Love! Love! love! I just love this place. Everything you can imagine here. I like getting stocking stuffers, valentines, snacks road trip goodies, birthday gifts, baby shower stuff... Just name it they have the best taffy. I love this place.
My sister brought me and let me tell you this is such an amazing family owned candy shop with the most delicious popcorn !!!!!!! I also got some super silly soda , gummies jelly bellys and, ICE CUBE CHOCOLATE I had not seen this chocolate since I was a kid 10/10 friendly staff, great products fun environment I encourage you to stop by!!!!!
Such a cute and nice candy/popcorn shop. A good selection of candies and a big variety of popcorn. A lot of tins to choose from for refills. The icecream and rootbeer float was great! When in town again from El Paso will stop by. Thank you 😊

After about a year of living in the area, the kids and I finally stopped in to check this place out. Cute, cute, cute little store with popcorn, fudge, candy, ice cream, dippin dots, and an eclectic range of bottled pop. Very friendly staff who are eager to help out as well as let you try samples of the popcorn that they offer. Yummy! My son was ecstatic that they offered gummy green army men, like in Toy Story. My daughter picked out a snack size bag of the confetti popcorn, which is a lovely option for those indecisive as she is!
We love this place. The popcorn is always perfect, and the people are even better. "Friendly" doesn't quite say it. They are just GOOD people. Ready to be of service with a smile (and not the fake way...). And, not afraid to have some good Christian music in the background while you shop. Much respect.
It will be a favorite for the foreseeable future.
