The atmosphere and staff were great and the food was even better. This is the kind of restaurant we need more of in Macon: authentic ethnic food made by people who know what they’re doing. It was extremely inexpensive, especially considering the quality of the food and service. Next time you are downtown, try it out. I guarantee that you won’t be disappointed.
Amazing authentic Mexican food! The guacamole was fresh and delicious. I loved that the food wasn't smothered in cheese like many places tend to do. I'm a cilantro lover and enjoyed that they used plenty in all of the dishes I tried. They have a nice menu selection and the prices are very reasonable. The restaurant is small and dimly lit, but it adds to the ambience. I would recommend them to anyone that enjoys fresh, delicious, authentic Mexican cuisine.
Excellent, this is the best and the most authentic Mexican food in Macon! Gone twice, brought friends the second time and they loved it! Mole was wonderful with a tasty kick. Street Tacos with fresh onion and cilantro were amazing. Had several varieties all were tasty. Guacamole is freshly made and flavorful. Great food! Great service! Reasonably priced! A must try in downtown Macon!!
This place has a new spot in my heart for the authentic Mexican. The hot sauce will light you up, corn or flour tortillas (flour is more,) guac is fire and some of the best I had, plus if you want the weird meats like I do they have tongue, tripe, and cactus (for the vegan or vegetarian.) I think two of us ate for under a 20 spot, this includes tip, and we ate well.
Deliciuos Mexican fare. Ceviche on the menu today. Where else in Macon can youy find that? A family run place that's warm and inviting. A place like this is what makes America great.

If any business deserves my money it's a place serving authentic Mexican food. I hope this place never leaves! I can't wait till they get a liquor license and some tamales!
Great service and great food!! Very authentic Mexican food. Very friendly staff, the cook seems very familiar, he looks like a guy that could make an amazing cocktail. If you're in downtown macon, definitely give La Bella Morelia a try.
My wife and I had lunch there today and both came away most impressed with the fresh authentic taste of the burritos. Loved the burritos and the green and red sauces to liven them up. Will definitely be back, might even try the cow tongue meat choice next time!
The food is beyond comparison!! The staff...WONDERFUL. The prices...will surprise you!! I see them growing to be "THE" place you want to eat at and be seen!!

For starters the chips, salsa and guacamole were so delicious and then the entrees Chef Special, Tortas (Steak Sandwich) and Caldo (Soup) were amazing!!! Not to mention the dessert. The place has a festive look and is well decorated with a full bar. The staff was very attentive and pleasant. Will return for sure!
Restaurant has a very cute design. Food is delicious, prices are reasonable and customer service is great. Definitely a 5-star experience all along
The food here is literally so good and fresh. I eat here nonstop since my first time visiting. Servers are nice and welcoming. Highly recommend.
Yummy Gordita is a tad pricey but not enough to turn me off it! Husband enjoyed Cheese dip has no peppers (yay!) Draft beers. Nice server but not very efficient (new, maybe?) We'll probably visit again after Corona.
Pandemic note: Very spacious table positioning, but no masks and plastic menus were not being sanitized.
Ordered for the first time for delivery tonight while studying and the food was incredible. I got the pastor tacos, chicken tamale, and the Mexican street corn. I think this may have just become my favorite Mexican place in Macon. Thank you!

Fantastic food and service. We had the carne asada taco, barbacoa taco, burrito and chile relleno. By far we enjoyed the taco's the most, we had them on both flour and corn tortilla but we preferred the flour tortilla. We ate here twice in 4 days as it was that good. Highly recommend. They serve chips and salsa and the salsa is soooo good. This place is a must if you enjoy Mexican food.
Best Mexican place in town! Definitely recommend the Casa Birria tacos!
