Stopped in with my mom today, very glad the sign caught my eye as we drove by! It's a small place and it was pretty chilly today, but the staff was warm and friendly enough to make up for it. We loved our slamwiches! She had a taylor, egg, and cheese and I tried the pork shoulder. Portions were generous and the homemade roll was delicious, I loved the sprinkle of sea salt on top. My pork was so moist and tender, and the slaw so crunchy. Definitely coming back to try the Korean BBQ and duck confit!

I went here because a friend of mine works here, but discovered that he was not just hyping the food. It is masterfully done. I had the wang chung which is Korean BBQ w homemade Kimchee and scallion aioli. What a good sandwich! I am upset I didn't order 3 for myself, not because of the portion size, but because I want to stuff 2 more in my gullet. If the French dip denounced its namesake country and repatriated to Seoul, it would be this sandwich.. the Korean dip. Even the house-made bread was a deliberate and wonderful choice: enough tooth to hold up to the juices and sauce but not so much that you had to fight it and inevitably squeeze the fillings out of the sandwich. Definitely wanna try my way through the menu. Kudos to Slamwich!

Great sandwiches! Don't bypass this spot - looks like a tiny hole in the wall from the outside but the food is unique and trendy. I ordered a Korean bbq brisket sanwich with kimchi and leek mayo. Highly recommended!

Great sandwiches! Pictured is the duck. Great combination of flavors. Some parts of the duck were overfried and too hard to eat though. Not a fast food place. Be ready to chill while your sandwich is prepared!

Been here a few times. Sandwiches are great, and the rosemary fries are my favorite!

The food here is great. The staff takes the time to explain any menu idem. The bread is made in house. The space is small but that gives it its charm. Highly recommended.

Had the pastrami. Great stuff. Get their house made ketchup if you order fries.

I went here with my wife today. Duck sandwiches were great. Food was impressive. Chef Sam should be proud of the food but that is were it ends. The place overall was dirty and had bugs flying all over. Huge bee inside when trying to eat. Not a single table was clean when we ate. Dirty and full of crumbs with ketchup on them. The dingy old diner look is cozy but it was not clean and you can see how dirty the kitchen was from where we were seated. Although a different concept from White Birch its parent restaurant it should be treated with the same attention to detail. I am in the business for my career as well. I hope the concept gets moved to a new location or renovated to attract a more main stream clientele so this culinary gem can actually survive.

Outstanding sandwich shop. Went with the cheese steak and it was great but will try the duck next time, have heard excellent things about it. French fries were quite possibly the best I have ever had, wish they had a half portion though. Too much for one person and I hate waste. Place was clean , service was super fast and staff was very pleasant. Will definitely be back.
