When I first walked in, I got the immediate sense of efficiency and industriousness as the staff meticulously worked as a well-oiled machine to get coffee orders out. I also love the feature of buying drinks for a stranger in need. Head on in if you wanna see how that works. Solid vibes here. Check it out!

A super cute little venue! I love the lattes, and the fact that they have so many delicious flavours and syrups! The lavender caramel is amazing! The pancakes are among the best I've ever had... they have this like full bodied, not quite doughy, but pleasantly stodgy texture and must have lemon zest in them, because there's this delightful citrusy moment... the whipped cream is homemade and speckled with vanilla... I crave this breakfast ALL THE TIME NOW. my only complaint is that I had a donut and it rocked my world BUT IT WAS 4 DOLLARS. pretty pricey for one donut. Overall, adore!

I love JPH. In my top 2 favorite cafes in Madison. I've never had a bad espresso drink or meal there and I've been coming here since they opened. They have strangely perfect pancakes??! Order the pancakes with strawberries and syrup. They're just perfect. Can't wait for the diner to open! <3

Just heard this place is offering my favorite Ghost Pepper Caramel Latte using Madison Chocolate Company’s gp caramels. Had to try them out. Great customer service and quiet location to work or study!

Great local coffee shop! Online ordering system works smoothly, and currently you can pickup with masks on at the door. JPH has a patio in the front on Johnson Street, with six tables and plenty of outdoor seating. Several non-dairy milks available, including oatmilk. Their lavender lemonade was very refreshing.

First time stopping in after the remodel, and it's looking GOOOOD in there! Stopped in for a chai and a sandwich to cure my WFH doldrums, and was instantly cheered. I'm so glad they are a part of my neighborhood. Excellent coffee, delicious chai (not too sweet!) and tasty food. What more do you need?
