Besides the music that was playing i really enjoyed going to this little cafe. The soup was delicious and the staff was polite. The inside was warm and cozy.
By far the best mocha I've found in Madison. Loved everything about the food, drink, and atmosphere.
This coffee shop is the center of the East Side. Miss you. Waiting for my favorite couch again!

Been enjoying this space for years. feels like a real home should. Love the artwork inside and outside. What a joy for our neighborhood.
A great atmosphere with wonderful tea, coffee and snacks!
This is one of my favorite Madison treasures. As if excellent soups, vegan treats, and made-to-order delicious drinks being served with 5 star customer service weren't enough, Mother Fools also offers an inviting atmosphere with unique décor. They serve the community by being a small business leader in green initiatives, an ever-changing beautiful graffiti project, and supporting blossoming music and artistic talent.
My husband and I swung through on a little #DATENIGHT last night, and I have to say the customer service was EXCEPTIONAL! My Americano wasn't bad either! ;)
The coziest place for the winter in Madison! Greetings from Brazil!
One of my favorite places in Madison!
A Madison gem located on Willy street. Fantastic coffee and one of the homey-est atmospheres I have experienced in this city, greatly due to the barista Casey.
Coffee was good, we got a couple Au Lait drinks, added our own sugar free flavor shots which really finished it off well. The place is cash only, with no signs. We didn't know this until after our drinks were made so we had to use an ATM that is onsite... Which costed us another $5 in fees. Owner should just open a Square account and take credit cards, charge the guest a fee (like $2 or so) for using credit cards to cover the % charge from credit cards... This would be far more guest friendly, and save guests money over the ATM fees.
Great little coffee shop. I met up with a friend here awhile a go and got some very yummy matcha drink (latte I think?) & a vanilla donut. 😋 would recommend.
Neat little coffee shop that's easy enough to get to, just keep in mind you'd have to park on the street somewhere.
The main thing I didn't like was that they were cash only and don't have a card reader. Thankfully they were nice enough to let my order be on the house, since I didn't have cash on me (I just got a regular coffee).
But yeah, biggest thing to keep in mind is bring cash if you plan to come here; hopefully they'll get an upgrade to take cards in the future.
One of the oldest and best coffee shops in the area. I used to go there daily 20 years ago as a young adult. Now I always stop in when in town. I am partial to their chai tea and their mocha, but anything you get here is good.
If you're looking for a cozy coffee shop with a great atmosphere, this is the place. It's a perfect place to chill if you're just looking to hang out. It's great for studying. It's great for meeting with friends. The baristas are wonderful, the bakery items are vegan and DELICIOUS. Cedar, in particular, is so unbelievably friendly and good with faces that they can pretty much recognize someone within the 2nd visit and does such a wonderful job with barista-ing. You get to strike up a chat while your drink is being made and just what a wonderful way to start your visit here.
Fun, old school cafe with quirky atmosphere - perfect place to work for a few hours with a coffee or to stop in with a bud and catch up.
Love the coffee! Very beautiful place very peaceful! Happy staff, the guy was awesome funny and it’s a coffee place so totally unexpected for a morning brew of coffee I know im not sunshine and rainbows at this time of hour. Anyway amazing coffee if I could I’d totally let them replace all of Starbucks
