Lakeside Restaurant - Madisonville - Photo album

Our waitress was amazing. We were rather large group but she handled it well. The kitchen ran out of a few things, but it was okay. The potions were large and good. My fries definitely weren't cooked long enough, but tasted okay.
Food was great. Country cooking. I had the hamburger steak. The only problem, I took my service dog in and she is very well behaved and trained, She was perfect during our visit, but the waitress seemed angry. Just curt. Like she was waiting on her to mess up. Nope. She seemed to lighten up
If you’re a family headed down South I45, with staving kids headed to the Beach - this is a BRILLIANT stopping point. We had a 135p lunch, and there are these fabulous 25¢ toy machines that bought us 20 min while we waited on order. The Chef salad was FABULOUS as was every single thing - Fries, Mash
The food over here is very good. I grew up in the country so I’m familiar with the southern hospitality and that’s just what you get. Everyone is polite and friendly. Almost like you’ve known them for years. The food of course is very delicious and the prices are reasonable.
I had the patty melt and my wife had fried pork chops. We also had the fried mushrooms. The food was good and the mushrooms were a little oily but it’s an interesting way to cook mushrooms. If you like pine you will like the look of this restaurant too, the walls and ceiling are all pine.
Passing through and looking for something other than a chain restaurant. Nice selection of food options. Good burger. Good club sandwich. Good chicken tenders. Good cheese steak sandwich. Fries were a bit plain (and unsalted), but the other side options were unexpected and welcome. Not often you fin
Nice staff, easy access from freeway. Veggies were a bit too salty for our liking and fries were somewhat undercooked, but that would not be a deal-breaker to not eat there again. Would much rather support a local business, than a large chain.
The wait staff was nice, but it took us 15months to be able to order. Salad was lettuce and a small chunk of Tomato. Food took almost an hour. When it arrived, baked potato was half-cooked, and my paper-thin pork chops fried to boot-leather tough. I thought “bread-pudding is hard to mess up”… nope.
