This place is a great local gem. The food was handmade and delicious. All the dishes that had cheese were steaming and nice and stringy. While the restaurant itself is small, it's well lit, very decorated, and overall pretty cozy.
While on our return trip from The Great Smoky Mountain Railroad, we found ourselves on Hwy 19 heading home. My youngest tried to locate something close to where we were. Excellent service! Everyone there is hustling to ensure the guests have the best experience. They started us off with fresh bread and garlic butter. We had the lasagna and pizza. Both were excellent, and the portions were on par with the prices. Definitely give it a try if you're in the area

Great find! We stumbled across this place after the lunch spot we were going to was closed. I had soup and salad, and both were fresh and delicious. The pizza we had was also very good and big portion for a "personal" size. We will definitely be going back.

Often times the good food can be found at the less than conspicuous places. While in Maggie Valley we wanted something other than BBQ so we stopped at Cafe Italiano. The staff is very friendly and the food was great. Large portions and full of flavor.
My husband and I wanted something familiar yet flavorful, and this restaurant was one of our top picks for this vacation weekend… they did not disappoint! Everything that we ordered was delicious and the service was professional. Will return on our next vacation to Cherokee!!!

This place is lovely! Quiet, mom and pop style. The hostess and waitress were both very friendly and attentive. The food came out very quick and was delicious. Unique flavoring, tastes home cooked. Definitely not something out of a box. My only complaint is the garlic bread was severely over-salted.
