This place is a great local gem. The food was handmade and delicious. All the dishes that had cheese were steaming and nice and stringy. While the restaurant itself is small, it's well lit, very decorated, and overall pretty cozy.
While on our return trip from The Great Smoky Mountain Railroad, we found ourselves on Hwy 19 heading home. My youngest tried to locate something close to where we were. It ended up being in a Casino. Maybe not the perfect spot for a family dinner. I did a search and came across Café Italiano Restau
Excellent service! Everyone there is hustling to ensure the guests have the best experience. They started us off with fresh bread and garlic butter. We had the lasagna and pizza. Both were excellent, and the portions were on par with the prices. Definitely give it a try if you're in the area
Located on Soco Road in Maggie Valley, North Carolina, this little Italian restaurant offers a variety of pizza, calzone, and pasta dishes. They currently (July 2023) are not serving wine/beer which was a disappointment to us. My husband really enjoyed his calzone with lots of meats, vegetables, and
Love it!!! My friends Brenda and Marie all ordered different 🍕 pizzas. Brick oven cooked. 😋 Highly recommended 👌. All was exceptionally 👍🏼 great along with our waitress Rachel. She was very attentive to our needs. A must try place.
Prices were reasonable between $10. -$20.

We had a gluten-free crust with Italian sausage and mushrooms and washed it down with Coke. Service by the gentleman there was okay. He served the pizza in a reasonable time.
We were greeted by a lady at the door, but she spent most of the time on her phone and missed a couple of customers (came in
Great find! We stumbled across this place after the lunch spot we were going to was closed. I had soup and salad, and both were fresh and delicious. The pizza we had was also very good and big portion for a "personal" size. We will definitely be going back.
Took my wife there for Mother's Day, at her request. It was my first time at Cafe Italiano but it won't be the last. The service was fast and friendly. I had the chicken Parm. and she had the seafood Alfredo. Both portions were big and perfectly prepared. The price is about what you would expect and
Just left here with the hubs and my mom. I must say I highly recommend this place! Beautiful ambience, great food and service. Rick, who brought out our food, was great. Always checked up on us not too much and not too little if we needed anything or how we were doing. We will definitely be coming h
The food here was so good. We just stopped in for lunch on our way through town. They have lunch specials that come with a salad and bread. The salad was really good with homemade ranch dressing. And the butter for the bread was really good. My son got the kids pasta with butter and cheese and
Often times the good food can be found at the less than conspicuous places. While in Maggie Valley we wanted something other than BBQ so we stopped at Cafe Italiano. The staff is very friendly and the food was great. Large portions and full of flavor.
My husband and I wanted something familiar yet flavorful, and this restaurant was one of our top picks for this vacation weekend… they did not disappoint! Everything that we ordered was delicious and the service was professional. Will return on our next vacation to Cherokee!!!
Cafe Italiano wasn’t my first or even my second choice during my stay in the town Maggie Valley, but my initial selections were closed - and thank goodness for that, because this place was amazing!
Located in a quaint cluster of shops, it might seem like another tourist trap roadside attraction, bu
Calzone was huge and tasted great. Could have used less bread and more filling and don’t serve it on a paper and a board, because the paper gets ripped and in the food! Sauce was amazing! This picture is the half I took home with me.
This place is lovely! Quiet, mom and pop style. The hostess and waitress were both very friendly and attentive. The food came out very quick and was delicious. Unique flavoring, tastes home cooked. Definitely not something out of a box. My only complaint is the garlic bread was severely over-salted.
Rachel was awesome, they were packed and it was almost closing time on a Sunday night, she made sure we still had excellent food and service!
Picked up a calzone. Delicious. Good size. Good price. Could have been a 5star experience easily however, I asked for them to cut it in half because my wife and I were sharing it. The girl said she would make sure they do. When I was given the order I checked to see if they had cut it as requested a
