This restaurant has the old mom and pop one feel. You definitely feel welcome for the staff there! They feel genuine with comment and suggestions they gave you. Food is for sure comforting with good portion! However, the cashier may sometimes have connection problems and you better prepare some cash just in case.

I'm a huge breakfast fan! And new to living in the area, I definitely found my new go to breakfast spot. Food was great! Highly recommend the country fried steak.

Family member took us here when I mentioned I needed a homemade dinner. We walked in to a unpretentious restaurant with many locals seated and visiting. You could tell it was a popular spot to break bread together. A server said " pick your seat, we'll be right with you." Looking over the menu I could tell right away I would be happy with my meal. Our server was "Cheryl" and admitted immediately when I asked what's the favorite here? She had just started working at Yorkshire's and said "really everything looks good". I finally decided on the chicken fried steak and mashed potatoes with onion rings. My partner wanted ONIONS and liver and said " note "ONIONS " and laughed with Cheryl. And uncle Leo ordered the hamburger steak with beans and their homemade cottage cheese which he said was delicious. One less positive was they used canned beans and both said they should have dressed up the beans with some bacon. All on all our dinner was great, our server was excellent and we will be back.

Being from North NJ I love this little diner atmosphere restaurant. The food is excellent, generous portions & fresh. It seems everyone who comes in are regulars. Our waitress was so nice as well as the owner who helps take orders at the counter. Great breakfast & lunch. I loved my turkey club & the vegetable omelette. Definitely recommend for good down home food & friendly atmosphere.

We went here for breakfast before going to the airport. Our server was Sandy, and she was great. The food was delicious. Good fresh, home cooked food 😋 it was great to find a good spot for breakfast when we came out to visit our daughter. We will definitely return.

My family has been coming to Yorkshire Restaurant for nearly 30 years. I remember when the country fried steak (my go to) was as big as the fairly large plates. Their motto is still: good food, good atmosphere, and good portions. This place gets 5 stars for several reasons. The food is pretty good. I've always enjoyed their country fried steak, but we've had their omelets and waffles and also not been disappointed. A really neat thing about YR is the back dining area. You seldom see it, unless it's a super busy day, but it's an old jail or similar. Really cool to sit back there.... just don't try to use the bathrooms (soooo tiny). They do a spaghetti dinner fundraiser with the Volunteer fire department across the street, which is another big positive to them. Biggest reason for 5 stars though? The current manager (owner?) is an amazing man. My mom died in July, and he gave my dad a couple of vouchers for meals so that when we needed it, we could come in and get some home cooking without worrying about costs. That was and will always be so very appreciated.

Took my girlfriend here because I wanted to try a new place for breakfast. It was amazing! We had great service and the food was great! I had the Hungry Man Breakfast and my girlfriend had one of the omlettes and both great dishes! Cherry on top is the price and you also get to support your local restaurant!

Stepping into The Yorkshire Restaurant in Manassas feels like stepping into your grandmother's kitchen - familiar, warm, and filled with the tantalizing aroma of home-cooked meals. This family-run gem has been serving up happiness on plates for decades, scooping up a well-deserved title as the Best Breakfast Restaurant in the area along the way. We went there for brunch and were greeted by a bustling, yet comforting atmosphere. We were seated promptly and served with genuine warmth, the kind you'd expect from old friends. The coffee was a strong handshake to start the day, while the juices were a refreshing pat on the back. The food? Classic diner fare. The eggs and home fries, however, could've used a touch more heat. Despite that, the overall homeliness of the place made the visit worthwhile. So, if you're in the Manassas area and find your stomach growling for some comfort food, swing by The Yorkshire Restaurant. It's the kind of place that feels like home, even when you're miles away.

I had the bacon eggs and waffle breakfast. Everything was delicious. The restaurant was crowded but we were seated and got our food quickly. The servings were very generous, and prices are very reasonable. The waitresses were very friendly and efficient. I really enjoyed the ambiance. I would recommend if you enjoy rustic, southern breakfast. YUMMY!!
