I have been searching for blue goo (blue raspberry) flavor bursts for the past ten years! Then we found Swilries! It was 10 am but I was so excited the owner David opened the machine early to give my friends and I ice cream! I feel like I’m 8 years old again. David Thank You! I can’t wait to come back!
Our family has been going to Swirlies for years! A wonderful, family run, business! Always a fantastic time and no matter what treat you go for you won’t be disappointed! After living in Hawaii for 9 yrs we were thrilled that their shave ice was made just right! It’s the perfect place to take the whole family for a treat and in the summer...a movie under the stars too! �
Swirlies is the most friendliest place to take your family! The owners couldn't be more friendly and kind! The ice cream I understand is the best quality you can get in a soft serve mix! You add in the great music they play and movie nights and it's almost as if God put them there for a reason! (To serve His children). 😉
I love this place. Delicious ice cream, a zillion choices and best of all, great prices. Not overpriced like Sweetfrog or Cold Stone! And the atmosphere is wonderful too! Fun music playing and lots of seating.
I’m usually a banana Split junkie, but I messed around and got a pineapple upside down sundae and fell in Love �! I wish I could eat one everyday- Good stuff, great music and the staff is always nice.
My husband and I went to Swirlies for the first time. It was excellent! He really liked the 50s and 60s music :-) I love my butter pecan ice cream and he loved his vanilla ice cream as well. Thank you we’ll be back!!

Best collard greens and porky tater. Beans are also great. Haven't had anything from there that wasn't good.
Love this place! We practically live there during the summer. My daughter is always asking to go. Ice cream is very good and at a great price. We love seeing the cars and watching the movies on movie nights. The music is a lot of fun, we could hang out all day!
It's always hard to find something that all the kids like, from the 16 to the 6 year old, Swirlies is always the answer. Thanks for all the memories and the more to come!

Delicious soft serve, great selection and service and such a better deal than the franchise restaurants next door. I highly recommend stopping by here. This will be a must visit for me whenever I'm in the area again. True gem in the area.
Literally the sweetest people on earth. The nostalgia of music and the laid back atmosphere keep me coming back. A great place to take your furry friends with you and get them a pup cup. Nothing but great things to say about this place, staff, and the customers. Seriously, who wouldn't be happy just going out for a sundown ice cream.

I come here when they open every year, and always try to make it to the very last day when they close. All of the choices are awesome. Very creamy ice cream, definitely a crowd favourite as they are always packed. Love coming here during the day, and we're at dusk.

A wonderful place to get the best ice cream I have had in NOVA. The people are friendly and the atmosphere is nostalgic. We love the traditional soft serve twist.
Get ready to be transported back to the time where doo-wap ruled the air waves and the ladies wore those poodle skirts and thick Bobby socks and the guys had leather jackets or letter sweaters and slicked back hair 😆 this place is just straight up fun, even waiting in line is fun! The atmosphere, being outside and the neon lights with the music playing melodies from time before with sweet, cold treats awaiting us at the end of the line at the shiny glowing stand 😆 fun, delicious and wish i could’ve had my friends with me! That would have made this tremendous and unforgettable. Something that you would remember doing years down the road.

Love this place! We drive over 40 minutes just to get the black raspberry ice cream! You can't go wrong with any of their ice cream and other goodies. Plenty of parking and places to sit.
Great selection of sundaes, malts/ shakes, other things. I had a banana split which was very good. My wife had a black raspberry sundae which was also delicious. Easy to find.
Good menu. Not crowded. Friendly service. Pretty good ice cream. But there are other options in the area. Think its stays open because of what is not because of the product.
We took my granddaughter as a treat after picking her up at school. There was no line and the ice cream was very good.
