Having seen this spot many times over the years, but never stopping in, I decided to go for breakfast one weekday, while I was in the area. There only seemed to be two employees working; the cook and the server, but service was still quite prompt. When I got there, there was only one other person dining in there, but by the time I left, there were many others and several more tables sat. They also seemed to have a few take-out orders pop in while there, so they clearly do a decent business. The menu is typical, basic diner fare, nothing creative nor unique. I opted for a bacon, egg, & cheese sandwich on English muffin and it was pretty good. The breakfast potatoes that I got as a side were nicely done, with a little crusty fry on the sides, which I really like. Overall, it was decent.

Food is what you would expect from a diner. That isn’t a bad thing though. I enjoyed my meal a lot and it was exactly what I was looking for. The biscuits were also freshly made and delicious. Our server was phenomenal. While the place is older and probably could use a renovation, I would recommend you try this location if you want a hearty, home-cooked meal.

It was a place I visited because I liked the song ’Tom's Diner’ by Suzanne Vega. (Of course, it's not the background of the song.) Sitting by the sunny window, I ordered French toast and breakfast dish. The French toast was especially delicious and I felt similar to when I made it at home. The server was very kind, and she made us feel good all along. It was enough to feel friendly in the touch of refilling warm coffee several times.

Typical hometown diner with home cooked food and friendly wait-staff. Food taste and quality is what you would expect from a diner like this. I got the 2-2-2-2 Special, two eggs (any style), two bacon, two sausage, and two pancakes. It's a good, hardy meal. Pancakes are very large and filling. Will be back again!

If you are a new customer, the restaurant's appearance from the outside might surprise you a little. It appears to be a little dated. However, the sheer number of automobiles parked outside on a Saturday afternoon warned us that appearances could be deceiving—and they were this time. You are asked to sit down when you enter. After being told of this requirement, we sat down and noticed the sign that stated, "Please sit yourselves," which was suspended from the ceiling by two threads. Despite how busy the restaurant was, the server girls provided excellent service. They always maintained a sense of urgency and smiled while they served and waited. I've worked in the services sector before, so I am aware of how busy things can get. And it was beautiful to watch these few women manage the front line with class, style, and love. Considering how busy the restaurant was, the food arrived promptly. The food and coffee were both excellent and hot. The food servings were what you would anticipate from a family diner, unlike the place with "juke" in the name. I think a little remodeling may really improve the overall appearance, but I would always choose excellent service above good aesthetics. will undoubtedly return. In any case for breakfast foods, I endorse it. I'll have to return for items for dinner and lunch.

Great service and the food was soooo good! I'm a first-timer! I went on a Thursday morning and it wasn't busy so my food came really fast. The coffee was good too and I really appreciate how nice the server was. I can't wait to go back and try other menu items.

Pretty quiet at 1:30PM on a Saturday, but the food was hot, fresh, and tasty! Service was quick accurate and personable! Worth a stop for standard diner fare, and you're in luck if you love breakfast foods like I do - breakfast is served all day!

We are from out of state & wanted something home made/delicious. Everything from the service to the food was delicious/authentic/on point. Will definitely recommend & come back once we visit VA.

Visiting from NJ, I’ll hit this diner every time. I ordered a classic 2 eggs over easy with well done hashbrowns, bacon, and rye toast. The meal was fabulous, and the coffee just how I like it. Not only was the food great, service was wonderful. The ladies were kind and warm and it felt like home. As someone else stated, appearances may be off putting to those that require a brand new look. This, to me, was nostalgic and a classic diner and made it feel like a home cooked meal. Like I said, I’ll visit here for breakfast every time I visit Manassas, VA.

good food, great service, but needs a lot of work on the building. Maintenance is clearly lacking
