I never give 5 stars but when I do, it’s a place like this one. Love the food, atmosphere is great! Such a hidden gem this one is. The dishes are served in these cool bowls which makes it feel authentic. Such favor, I am a fan of spice and these dishes made my taste buds dance. Definitely a recommend from me.
Food was great very flavorful nice presentation atmosphere is pleasant service was quick and polite. My only issues were I wish I could have gotten a lil more chicken with my chicken biryani for 15$. The butter naan is awesomeness. I enjoyed the kadi chicken it was on point

This is the same restaurant that used to be in the Fair Oaks Mall. We were sad when it closed. Their new location is at the George Mason University campus in Manassas.
I love their vegetarian options. The food is some of the best tasting Indian food around.
Aside from having my card charged three times for the order, this place seemed very nice. Though it was takeout, the establishment was clean and the butter chicken tasted awesome. This is just a preference of mine but I prefer the chicken chunks a bit smaller. They put in some pretty massive chunks. I like the smaller pieces so it’s more infused with the sauce. The naan was delicious but on the thick side but, this is just a preference of mine again when I compare it to the style of naan that I like.
Tried the Spice Route for the first time this evening, ordered through DoorDash for pickup. The food was great! It's tough to find good Indian food but this place does well - the curries were spicy and full of flavor, and they were very generous with the rice! Great meal, we will definitely order again! One tip to the owners if they read this though - could you please write on the pots what each dish is? It can be confusing! :-)
We tried this restaurant for the first time and had the Saag Paneer, Butter Chicken, and Basmati Rice. The portion sizes were generous. The food was fresh, hot, and delicious! The staff was friendly and they definitely care about their customers. I highly recommend this restaurant and will be returning often!
Delicious! We decided to try this restaurant for carryout after getting our first Covid vaccine nearby (woot!) and are so glad we did. The samosas and sauces were delectable. The chicken korma and chicken vindaloo were absolutely delicious. The rice was fluffy, and the portion was generous. Our only disappointment was in the naan portion, but we had so much other food to eat that we didn’t miss it. In fact, we have enough leftovers for another meal. We look forward to visiting again!
Carry out order: The butter chicken was very delicious and was spiced perfectly. However, I was disappointed in the Naan as it it was not as soft and fluffy as others I’ve had. Also, only one order of rice was given to me for two orders of butter chicken that cost $16 each. Rice is relatively cheap—come on.
Update: Thank you for the reply. The container just seemed so small I doubt it was 32 oz. it was probably a mistake but will definitely mention it next time if it happens again. Updated the rating to 4 stars.
Great! Ordered for takeout and met with the owner upon picking up our food, he was very generous and even gave us a sample of an appetizer served during their brunch. A tad pricey, but it ended up being enough food to save for lunch the next day. Very pleased with the food.
I had the Chicken Tikka Masala and my husband had Butter Chicken. Also, Vegetable Samosas and Garlic Naan. I've had alot of Indian food and I'd be hard pressed to think of a better meal. Everything was fast, piping hot and delicious!! I recommend this place highly!!
My go to for Indian cuisine. Here and Rangoli.
3/1/2021 update: Love this place still, never had any issues with the food. I’ll give 5 stars when they start a buffet, I love Indian buffets!!! Rangoli stopped there’s too, probably Bc of COVID.
First time actually visiting the location instead of ordering delivery & the person who greeted me was very friendly. I got the lunch non vegetarian dish (2)...never knew they had this because it doesn’t pop up on Uber eats (where I usually order from). It was about $11/ea ... I’ll update review how it was once I try it but I’ve never been disappointed.
