When you are seated, they bring you popcorn to munch on while you are deciding what to order. They give you bibs and gloves to eat with. My family loves it. They said the food is really good. I don't eat seafood, so I get chicken tenders. I wish there was more on the menu for the ones that don't eat seafood, at least one more option, (only reason for 4 stars and not 5) but I was happy with the chicken tenders lol. Hush puppies are delicious. The service was good. Kids were asking to go back even before we left!

From the charismatic Sharpie graffiti adorning every single inch of the wood paneled restaurant, to the honestly friendly and fun service, along with the literal shaking of hot seafood inside a plastic food bag full of seasonings, it was an awesome experience all around. Everything was flavorful and reasonably priced. We will be back!.
The best combo of fried shrimp and fries i ever had. The shrimp is uniquely large…they must get it from some special place. The fries are beautifully crispy and perfect in taste. Good price too.
Food came out fast and our waiter was awesome! I had the shrimp basket and a pound of snow crab legs and my wife had the Snow crab legs and steam shrimp combo with extra scallops. The Shakin Sauce medium or hot is definitely the best. We will be back!!
They have some pretty good deals for a couple half pounds of mixed crab legs and shrimp. Their flavors are great. My only complaint would be that my snow crab might have been a bit overcooked and was pretty hard to crack -little smooshy.
We enjoyed our experience the food was great. I've been to other roaches we're it didn't seem like the value matched the prices but it did here. Took out my daughter for Valentine's Day and she loved it as well got the special #1 with Mild Shakin Sauce, 5 mild buffalo wings and A calamari platter all for us to share. Will definitely come back at some point. We also liked adding to the decor and writing on the walls. Just ask for a marker before you leave!
Shakin Crab was amazing. It was very good: from the food to the atmosphere to the staff. The guy who served us was very nice and gave us some really good suggestions on what fish to choose to eat. Overall, if you like seafood, you should DEFINITELY come to eat here.
This is such a fun place to go for dinner! We took our kids for our seafood loving toddler, and it was a big hit. My husband definitely had to shell all of the shrimp for both of my young children, so he may have had less fun (hazard of bringing children, the shelling of seafood is part of the experience). I love a dinner that doubles as an experience, and this fit the bill. It was customizable, delicious, and so much fun.
Came here to grab some crab for a guest at home. I'm glad that I was able to get some crab at the last minute. It was a little bit a wait till the order was ready, but overall, my guest was happy.
Been here twice, did take away both times. Staff is friendly and food was hot and ready one time. Both times I ordered the Seafood Platter (2 clusters snow crab, 0.5 lb sausage, 1 lb each shrimp, mussels, and crawfish, 4 each corn and potatoes) and it was enough to feed three people. I selected the Shakin Crab seasoning and selected mild. Spiciness level was low enough that people that don't like spicy food could enjoy it. Everything was delicious and cooked to perfection.
Loved the simplicity but super fun atmosphere! Super attentive and kind staff and wonderful food! Big portions!!! Too bad we live so far away! I would love to go bach!
This has become one of my favorite restaurants!! It's an open layout/floorplan! Clean! Don't come dressed up, because this is a place where you shall enjoy your food as well as every bite!! Seafood is delicious!!! Charlie is very helpful! He will assist you on creating a combo or whatever it is you would like to create. The rest of the staff are friendly and very welcoming!!
I had the most amazing time here, the ambiance and service were fantastic. I’m definitely coming back. Audrey was the perfect host, so courteous, respectful and nice. This is my new favorite place!

Excellent food, served fresh and hot, and excellent service from Carlos. We ordered fried catfish with sweet potato fries and Special #1. The special has 1/2 lb each of snow crab, shrimp and kielbasa style sausage. We chose the Shakin Sauce, medium heat and it was so delicious! Setiously, that sauce is so good! We will definitely be back.
