Metbah was by far the best Turkish restaurant I have been to In a long time. I'm very critical when it comes to Turkish food and Metbah hands down has won me over. The food, service, and the atmosphere was delightful!!!
The owner and his wife are very welcoming and accommodating. The food is amazingly delicious! I don't even know where to begin to describe the joy my taste buds endured tonight from the authentic meze plate, the delicious fish, the tender octopus salad, or the mouth watering filet mignon... It was competed by the yummiest desert mouse and Turkish coffee. I give it an overall 5 stars and highly recommend Metbah to anyone that wants delicious authentic Turkish cuisine with a tasteful flare!!!!
This was one of the best meals I have had in a very long time. The owner was wonderful and helped guide us through the menu and made some delicious suggestions. We had the lamb shank and the moussaka as our entrees and they we’re absolutely mouthwatering. We also enjoyed the Turkish coffee and the yogurt mousse for dessert which were perfectly scrumptious. I cannot say enough about Matbah other than to try it! It has fresh, wonderful flavors and a very cozy atmosphere. The staff was friendly and the open kitchen was immaculate. I’d give them more stars if I could.
The food is excellent! It is very fresh and definitely made with care and love. The presentation of every item was top notch! Do not be fooled by the outside and the casual atmosphere. This is star quality food which will have your taste buds dancing!! Definitely worth visiting!
Lamb shank was awesome never had one like it. Falafel was on point and baklava was ice cream is the best
Amazing! I love this place. Delicious apps, entrees and desserts. Omar, the owner, is caring and a great host. Go here for gluten free, authentic, and incredibly tasty fare.
I was blown away - my husband and I were walking by and decided to give this place a try. It was a great, great experience - the food was amazing (I had the kofte and it was so flavorful ) and the wait staff were equally as amazing. Next time we visit Manchester, we are coming back here!
The best restaurant in the Greater Manchester area! I can't believe it has taken me so long to review it. My wife and I have eaten here many time and absolutely love it. We have both been to Turkey on several occasions and can honestly say that you won't find more authentic Turkish and Mediterranean food this side of the Bosphorus. If you haven't tried Matbah already you really should.
