Good Louisiana food. The Mac and cheese wasn't a favorite for the kids. A large will easily feed two, even three kids. The portions are a lot bigger than you think. Which is a great problem! Fried pickles and roast beef po boy were my favorites.

We wanted to take the bridge across the lake from New Orleans but needed an excuse. Restaurant was nice. The onion rings were amazing. The portions were huge. We all brought back half of our meals and we're very full. Prices were decent.

I stumbled upon a few reviews of Pontchartrain Poboys and needed to know for myself if it was THAT GOOD. Yes!!! Treat yourself. I loved the oyster poboy, white beans (Mondays only) and the crawfish and corn bisque. They DO NOT skimp on portions or seasonings.
