For being born and raised Italian I usually don't go to Italian restaurants for I would always find something to criticize about their food. Stresa Italian Restaurant got me! For starters the place is decorated beautiful and dressed with fine fresh bouquet of flowers everywhere. They make sure you feel welcomed the minute you walk in. We had the best octopus for appetizers prepared delicately in a light lemon sauce. For our pasta course we chose linguini fruitti di mare which had shrimp, scallops, clams and mussels in a light garlic sauce that had a ton of flavor. Than for main entree we shared the veal osso buco along with the angostino oregonato which is baby lobster stuffed with seasoned breadcrumbs which I couldn't stop eating even though I was full. They have a huge selection of homemade desserts which for sure you will find a favorite! So if your looking for a great Italian restaurant you must try Stresa. Coming from a real Italian this says it all! Worth the drive if you don't live close by!

Outrageously good. The food is a level beyond the best you've had and the service is literally perfect. Highly recommended. A true gem!
Have been many times and was never disappointed. Food was excellent, service was attentive and didn't rush us. Good place to go as you will always get great service and food.
Usually don’t write reviews, but this place is very deserving of it. Food was excellent, good price and nice size portions. Great atmosphere and service was superb.

Stumbled upon this restaurant early this evening. Great service, amazing food & great ambiance. My boyfriend & I’s new spot. Can’t say enough about how great everything was during this dining experience. Will be back over & over again!

Stresa is one of the nicest Italian restaurants on the North Shore of Long Island. We went for my son's birthday and all had a wonderful time. Everything from the food to the service to the atmosphere was perfect!
My husband brought me here for my birthday it's our first time here,omg it is so amazing 👏 😍 I really loved it here!!!!!! Will surely come again. The staff,the service, the food everything is perfectly perfect 🥰

Was greeted by a gentleman, we had reservations, was my cousins birthday, started off w/Tom./mozzarella, I had lemon sole w/veg. Then they sang HB, brought out slice of cheese cake, choc. Cake & apple strudel sort of. Was very thoughtful of them. Would go again. Oh before I forget their liquid soap dispenser had the best smell, to was hands, somet lavender? Chao…

On this busy Saturday night, we didn't have a reservation but we were greeted so nicely and offered a seat at the cozy bar to wait a table. We had well made drinks in this cozy space. We were seated much sooner then expected and enjoyed a top quality meal. Broad menu, efficient service and a huge surprise for dessert which I won't ruin fir you except to say save room. Thank you for your gracious welcome and dinner.
