We brought an out of town guest to your Fishbar last nite, we all loved our fish dishes. I will tell more friends to eat at your place. I have eaten there 5 times now, I must like your food. You have the freshest fish ever.
Could not be faulted when we were there last evening (lobster night) great oysters and excellently cooked Maine lobster and some nice wine choices. We don't normally have room for dessert but we're glad we made the exception. Also faultless service by John the Canadian waiter. The best meal we have had in Manhattan Beach, going back through several visits. We will come back.
Went here last night after the Cirque du Soliel show, Toruk-The First Flight. My wife and I looked it up on Yelp and read the reviews, which were mostly positive. It's rated 4 stars and was open late, another plus. We loved everything about this place. It has a very classy Hawaiian plantation theme decor. Both the food and service were (not to sound cliche), spot on. I had a delicious New England clam chowder soup as the appetizer, coconut crusted Mahi Mahi with brown rice and steamed mixed vegetables for my main entree, and sticky bun ice cream sundae for dessert that we shared. My wife had the lobster tacos. The coconut crusted Mahi Mahi was superior, but believe or not I enjoyed the soup and dessert the most! The sticky bun ice cream sundae is a warm cinnamon bun topped with vanilla-cinnamon ice cream.....mouth watering! If you're ever in the South Bay and Manhattan Beach, check this place out....you won't regret it!
Service was fantastic and the food was phenomenal!! I had a Wednesday night special of the Steamed Crab combo which was 1/2 lb Alaskan King crab and 1/2 lb snow crab with 2 sides doe $27... Crab was AMAZING! Juicy, tender, flavorful... I’ll definitely come here again! And the North Manhattan drink I had was delic!!

Order the lobster guacamole and the lobster special! You won't regret it. Best tasting lobster with sooo much meat!
I went for my wife's birthday we had the Lobster Cobb Salad and Lobster Guacamole it was delicious

Great restaurant very close to the beach. Food quality is excellent, seafood & shellfish served fresh as takeaway. Their own microbrewed beer is very good.
Great choice also during this shutdown as for the pandemic outbreak. Highly recommended!!

This is one of my favorite seafood restaurants in Manhattan Beach. The foods here fresh and fantastic. Every day, there is seafood special deal.
Today is lobster special. For less than $28, you will get a whole lobster and two side dishes for lunch. The grilled Maine lobster is so fresh that you thought it was just fished out of the ocean. The sides are great too. You can get sweet potato fries and broccoli or spinach.
For Tuesday, like other restaurants in Southern California, they offer the popular taco Tuesday special. For Wednesday, you can get their crab combo for $26.
My wife went for the lobster special and I ordered the mussels and clams combo. The clams and mussels were very fresh too. I finished my dish in no time.
Don’t forget to try their New England claim chowder. The soup is very smooth and creamy but no overly thick.
The fried calamari was good too as appetizer. We had that to start the meal. The calamari was tender and tasty yet crispy. It was good way to start our meal.
The only disappointment was that the restaurant offers only two choices of desserts. I wish they have more selections. I guess giving this is the pandemic time, the restaurant needs to focus on the food with limited resources.
Since the restaurant is right next to the beach, it was very pleasant siting outside for outdoor dining even though the weather was hot.
For parking, there is a big two story metered parking lot across the street with plenty of spots.
The food, ambiance and service is amazing! I've gone with the girls for dinner and with my husband for brunch. There’s a TV on every wall and everywhere you look with a diverse set of television programs or games on. Filled with spacious booths and long tables there is plenty of space for large gatherings.
Fantastic place to grab something when in a hurry. The service is efficient, rates are convenient, good vibes. I highly recommend this place
Delicious food! We were there for tack Tuesday and tries the backend shrimp and Salmon tacos with a oyster app, as well as the fishbar margs. All were delicious.
2) Pork sugo pasta - I feel like any pasta other than bottarga is like the less impressive sibling in a family of overachievers. I really enjoyed this dish - the shape of the pasta was super cute, the pork itself was crumbly and soaked up the tomato sauce so well. I think it was a good balance to the bottarga pasta but... you just can't outshine your older sister when she's like a Harvard MD. If you know what I mean.
