Review Main Street Cafe - Maquoketa

Great food at great prices. Everyone loved it. They don't take plastic, so come prepared (hit up the fee -free ATM at Kwik Star first for some greenbacks). If I had one criticism it would be the lack of homestyle gravy on their menu, but otherwise it's all good! Friendly staff and fast service.

All of the staff, including the cooks, are super duper friendly and very helpful. I’ve been searching for a good French dip for years and I finally got what I was hoping for. Usually the au jus arrives cold and tasteless, but this was freshly made and delicious. Probably because we came in a half hour because they closed but nonetheless it was super tasty. They only accept cash and checks! Look out ;)

This is a small-town family restaurant with friendly service and good food. Just make sure to bring cash, because they didn't accept credit cards at the time of our visit.

Stopped here today on way to the Caves. We all had terrific food and service. We will definitely come back the next time we come back.
