Great atmosphere, good beer selection and staff was nice enough. We had the meatballs and the chicken wings. The presentation of the food was awesome. Wings were good the sauce is top notch. The meatballs were amazing the bread served with them was hard but I believe it was meant to be. We have no complaint of the quality of the food it just would have been better with a softer bread. All the people complaining about the food selection remember this is a Tap House not a restaurant. A lot of Tap Houses don't serve food at all so I consider it a bonus that there is any kind of selection and I'm sure it will get better over time. As far as the kids menu never in a million years would I expect this place to have a kids menu it's a Tap House not a Chuck-E-Cheese I'm sure kids are welcome but generally speaking a Tap House caters to adults. The patio is awesome. I also think that it's nice that they have mainstream beers like Bud Light I have a few friends that just don't do the craft beer thing and it's a place where everybody can have what they like, hell they even have a full bar. For all of the readers scrolling through the nitpicking reviews just remember three stars is satisfactory anything over that is extraordinary. Tucson is hard on restaurants, I for one hope that Growlers makes it. Sure their food could use some improvement, and I'm sure as a new restaurant at times the staff gets overwhelmed and it takes too long to get your food out, but give it a try go in expecting a Tap house and be pleasantly surprised you can order a burger, oh and leave your kids at home or take them to home plate to play baseball. We will be back and we will bring friends.

I love having a place like Growlers in the neighborhood! I've been able to try an ever changing list of fantastic brews (I've noticed that all the ones I've tried are rated 3.5 or better on Untapped). Great place to chill and relax, catch live music, watch football, meet with friends, or even get some homework done. (Yes, I've brought my computer there too.)
Yes, there have been growing pains with service and food, but there has been continued improvement. Keep it up!
The atmosphere is total fun and enjoyment. The food is excellent and beer is D'licious!! I recommend this place to everybody.

My daughter had a doctor's appointment in Tucson, and we are from Tombstone. It was her day off, and she looked for a bar that served good hamburgers, and she found this place, so we set the GPS and went today. She loved all the beers she sampled, and she had a jalapeno moscow mule. The burgers were fantastic!! The meat tasted so good, and it was cooked perfect. Lawson was our bartender...He was Great!! Thanks for making our day!
Returned to TapHouse since opening when dropping off friend in Tucson. Know they're not a restaurant but a bar but food is good. Had excellent BBQ Mesquite ribs which were fall off the bone. Downed it with a fruity Nitro Rubaeus beer. Finally learned what the Nitro meant. Outside patio looked busy but I missed Live music night. Great service from Travis, thanks Travis!
We have been trying to eat here for several weeks but every time we drove by it was packed! We ended up going at around 3pm on a Sunday and got in no problem. We had our two young kids with us and we're happy to see there was a few other tables that had kids too. We ordered some beer and wine and to eat we had pretzels, cream cheese stuffed jalapeños, and a full rack of ribs to split between the 4 of us. The food was excellent, the drinks were great as was the service. We decided we would definitely be back but next time we'll leave the kids at home. Kids are certainly welcome (and our server was great with them) but we think we would enjoy it better if it was just the two of us.
First time there last night and enjoyed it all, the atmosphere, food and beer. Will definitely be going back to try more of their food and beer.

I've been wanting to check this place out for months! I had some time between appointments and was a little thirsty. Thought of Growlers�
Decided to try the "Goons" and Grapefruit Cider. ���
(Goons: Mushroom caps stuffed with creamcheese and jalapeños with chili dip sauce) SO GOOD! The grapefruit cider was very light & refreshing with a bitterness that paired perfectly with the Goons�
Met Lee, the owner, such a nice guy. This is definitely going to be my come-to place!

While the food was good and the drinks as well the one thing they do right is their Ranch Sauce lol. In all seriousness the food and drinks are on point. NOW let’s talk about the location a little far from I-10 or a big deal. The layout is great and I loved Thermidorian the restrooms. The staff was welcoming and our waitress gets a 10 😉. This was our 1st time here and I have to say this place is so good, we sat at the outside bar where Derek greeted us and we tasted some great beers he was awesome we decided on our beers and then came the food I had the lemon pepper wing they where packed with flavor and the untouchables ( jalapeños) where the best my husband had pulled pork sliders they were just smoked and your can definitely taste it, my dad had the real Mccoy it was AMAZING! Thank you Derek for the great experience we will definitely be back!
Pros: the food was excellent! Probably up there with the best restaurant burgers I have ever had. The fries were delicious as well. The server was on top of the drinks. They have good beer. There were some gluten free items to choose from on the menu including a gluten free bun for anyone in need of that.
Cons: They didn't ever put in our appetizer but offered to still bring it after they already brought our food. At that point it seemed pointless. The chairs were incredibly uncomfortable. The whole vibe of the place is off-putting visually so if you are trying to impress I would just skip it.
Overall I would go back for the food... A pickup order would probably be the way to go.

First time here and was impressed. Met some family out of town and decided to try something new. We did an early dinner around 4:00 p.m., and there was only a handful of guests and the dining room. The ambiance was quiet and the staff was attentive and helpful. The food was really good and served on wooden planks. The atmosphere is unique in itself. The prices are more than reasonable! We will be back again.

Had a great time having lunch with the family. I had a delicious margarita and the burgers were awesome! I recommend the Nobel experiment burger if you like smoked Gouda. Shout out to kaylee the bartender for the excellent service.
