While returning from key West, me and my brother decided to give this place a try. This was our first time trying Cuban food and we were pleasantly surprised. This place turned out to be the highlight of the trip (food wise) and we tried all kinds of food ranging from Mediterranean restaurant to Jamaican food to Japanese among others. We ordered yellow tail fish with rice and beans and shrimp curry with rice and beans. The serving size was huge and the prices were very reasonable. They use lot of spices and that's how we cook our food in Nepal. So, it gave us the feeling of eating at a local restaurant back home. The down side was limited parking and the communication with the servers was also limited as they hardly spoke English and I don't know Spanish. But that's something I can live with. The ratings are for the value we got for the price we paid. I highly recommend this place if you are in that area.

My mom and I discovered this place a few years back when we were vacationing down here in Marathon. This is our " go to" spot whenever we are here. Breakfast, lunch and sometimes even dinner all in one day lol. The prices are good and the portion sizes are great!! The plantains are some of the best we've ever tasted and we always order extra. Some of the best authentic food comes from small places like these. I wish we had more places like this back home in NY!!

Amazing Cuban food at this hole in the wall restaurant. Cheapest and best meal by orders of magnitude. Fresh juices are fabulous - watermelon and mango were hits for our family.

Great tasting and authentic Cuban Cuisine. If you're in Marathon and like Cuban food you did yourself a disservice if you don't include La Nina restaurant in your itinerary. Even if you have to take it to go because of the small size and possibility of they're being no seating available it's well worth the hassle.

The best Cuban sandwich I have ever had, and I have been eating them for 50 years. The home made bread and roast pork are over the top.

We had two appetizers shared for lunch. One was the Cuban Tamales which was different to us but very tasty. The most amazing dish was the shrimp stuffed green plantain..... what a tasty and flavourful dish!

The food is delicious and fresh. Small seating , so I recommend ordering take out. The prices are better than reasonable. You can also by fresh baked loaves of Authentic Cuban Bread. (Not the imitation cuban bread from the grocery stores),... I will continue to drive to Marathon from Big Pine just to visit this place.

Never had Cuban food before and decided to give this place a shot. Delicious yet cheap. Friendly staff, they don't speak English very well but they were very patient with us. Next time we come to the Keys we are definitely stopping here a lot!

This place is delicious! We made a quick stop for a late lunch and certainly had to come back for breakfast the next day. The prices are cheap and the food is really great. By far way better than spending $150+ at an ok restaurant.

Ordered their “Famous Cuban sandwich” after seeing tons of articles about it. It 100% lives up to its reputation. Best Cuban I have ever eaten around Florida from Tampa to the Keys. And my favorite meal we had from our time in the keys.

We were in search of some ‘real deal’ Cuban food while on a recent trip to the Florida Keys and this place fit the bill. It is roadside and has limited parking. The food was fantastic! The lady running the joint was such a sweetheart. Portions were incredible. We had an app with roasted pork, a Cuban pepperoni/sausage, tamales, and plantain chips that was a great option to try different fair. My wife had the Cubano sandwich and I had the Ropa Vieja - both were delicious!

Been there several times. OVERALL, is a great restaurant, food is AMAZING, and Service is awesome. Eating inside is great but can get crowded. Outside Eating is more spacious, and if you love nature, you'll love them roosters and chickens surrounding you..

This little mom-and-pop Cuban restaurant may not be much to look at but serves some awesome fish sandwiches! We got some to go when traveling back from Key West. Definitely recommend!

The empanadas and Cuban sandwich are worth the stop here, very flavorful! The sandwich is massive, so ended up sharing with my wife and we were plenty full.

Man if you are looking for food that has unbelievable flavor and taste this is the place. A store clerk recommended this place, a place we wouldn’t normally blink an eye at. Best food and best prices in the Keys! One plate would easily feed 2 people.
