Finding places in marathon to have a good breakfast can be a little tricky. Porky's is right off US1 east of 7mile Bridge. Our breakfasts were prepared very well. My wife had an amazing BBQ breakfast sandwich, I had a sausage, egg and cheese sandwich. Service was decent, and the atmosphere is very casual island.
Ate here for breakfast one day, and lunch another day. By far one of the best places to eat around the marathon area. Everything I got was excellent, prepared correctly and had excellent flavor. We would not hesitate to come back and try anything else on the menu. Great place
Porky’s Bayside is as expected with some unexpected surprises. Expected: tiki hut charm ✅, friendly staff ✅, great happy hour ✅. Unexpected: the sushi is really good and we saw manatees right off the restaurant marina! I was a little concerned with the size of the menu since there are so many offerings at Porky’s. It concerned me because a spot with a large menu tends not to do anything well. But another pleasant surprise is the food is good. Have visited about 4-5 times. Is everything a home run, no but the BBQ is solid and the sushi is surprisingly good. So far Porky’s happy hour (see HH menu in photos) from 3pm-6pm is one of my favorites in Marathon. Nice variety of food choices outside of the typical chicken wings and peel & eat shrimp (it’s there too with other items). Definitely a locals spot give Porky’s a try.

This place was yummy, I had Babyback ribs, corn coleslaw and mashed potates! This place has a giant menu, everything for everybody! And of course I had a mule, island mule! Yummy!
Laid back atmosphere! Great waitstaff!
Awesome spot for lunch! Went to Porky's with my girlfriend and had an amazing experience. Our waiter “Kerr” was fantastic. Very attentive, friendly, kind & knowledgable!!! We had the beer battered gator bites as an appetizer, definitely would recommend trying them. Beef brisket, spare ribs, mashed potatoes, and southern fried corn on the cobb were flavorful, cooked perfectly, and overall very tasteful. Homemade chocolate mouse was by far the best chocolate mouse that I’ve ever had. Awesome location right before the 7-mile bridge. Restaurant & bar had great vibes, good music & a friendly crowd. Also super dog friendly which is always a PLUS!!! We will definitely be going again soon. Thank you Kerr for such a wonderful dining experience!!
Andrew our server was so lovely and pleasant! Had some great menu recommendations. Our food came out super fast and tasted great! Get the deep fried key lime pie, you won’t regret it!!
Great dock side dining. Fun atmosphere and great food. Our group came for breakfast and had BBQ pork breakfast sandwich, Egg burrito, biscuit sausage gravy, home fries and grits. Everything was wonderful.
Go there hungry! Lots of food and very well cooked. Didn't have a appetiser. Our server was almost to keen, sat down menus straight away. Drinks arrived very quickly. Service is excellent. He recommended the BBQ pork , tacos and burgers and key lime pie. Went for fish cakes and pulled bbq pork. Fish cakes came with a fresh coleslaw and a tangy sauce which went well with the fish. The pork was so soft and tender not drenched in sauce. Would recommend either dish. The deep fried key lime pie was a bit of disappointment, didn't really taste of lime not sure on that one tbh.

On a “bucket list” road trip with the family we pulled in here for lunch as they were right off the main highway. The curb appeal was what we wanted when trying to experience the keys. We loved the open air environment! One of the things we were doing on our trip despite NOT really being fans of Key Lime Pie was was to try as many of the restaurants different spins. After our trip was done we unanimously agreed the our favorite was here at Porky’s!!!
Great option if you want a break from seafood in the Keys. Porky’s did not disappoint! BBQ was good, the fish is delicious and not overpriced, for Marathon. The fried key lime pie is definitely a must try! You can play mini golf and enjoy the waterfront art gallery.
We were planning on going to a different location but drove by this place and it looked very cute, so we stopped here instead. They didn't have it on the menu, should should... I created a smoked brisket, cheddar and onion omelette and my boyfriend had the smoked pork breakfast and both were absolutely delicious. We highly recommend this place! I had a coconut mojito and he had a regular mojito and we had the key lime french toast. Amazing!
My husband and I decided to stop at this restaurant for brunch. Unfortunately, breakfast and at 11:00 a.m. and we were unable to have lunch. I was a little bummed but it was absolutely our responsibility to look ahead of time and determine what the breakfast and lunch hours were. The restaurant is so cute and very inviting. I saw a sign welcoming patrons and their pets, which I thought was pretty cool. This restaurant is located at the edge of the water, with a thatch roof, and open walls for an amazing Breeze. Everyone seemed very friendly, and I think that the restaurant even hosts different events throughout the week. The restaurant is brightly colored with cute seating areas and a bar. Some of the patrons seemed to be regulars and were very friendly and welcoming. My husband and I ordered lunch, which came out pretty quickly to our surprise. I believe the menu offers a little bit of variety, such as different fish options, some barbecue, and other little food delights. If you're in the area, I would absolutely recommend this restaurant for some food and fun!
Awesome and tasty food. The drinks were also well crafted and delicious. The restaurant is indoor/outdoor "tiki" style and can be humid during the day (normal for Flordia). Would recommend trying this place out if you are on the island.
Amazing little pearl!!! Very friendly service and great food!!! So good that we forgot to take a picture of the food! Prices are reasonable and the quality is very good!
The top was the dessert (brownie) but everything else is great too!!
Delicious breakfast and rest of the day spot. Definitely has an island vibe but is very clean and the staff is a team and works well together!
Skip some of the other local joints, head here for breakfast, I promise you'll be impressed. I took a chance and had eggs Benedict and the eggs were perfectly poached, hollandaise sauce was fresh and it was not overly salty. The potatoes were not out of the bag they were fresh cut and cooked perfectly.
Grits have real texture and are creamy, the perfect consistency.
Even the breakfast burrito is no simple thing. After filling a healthy size burrito, it was grilled so it has a nice texture on the outside and delicious flavor inside.
I had really wanted the Challah French toast, with real maple syrup, or maybe a bloody Mary, but my stomach isn't big enough for one day so we'll be back!
The portions are generous and the food is great, Not a big surprise for one of the the oldest continually operated restaurants in town. I can't wait to go back and try the barbecue and other menu items on the diverse made from scratch menu. It was a pleasure sitting in a big open air restaurant with the attentive staff, delicious food and drinks.
It's definitely on the top of our list for breakfast. And it's actually kind of fun because it's not fancy, some picnic tables are in the dining room, and the ceiling is painted vibrant colors, but don't let that for you, the food is professional, the staff is generous and welcoming, and this is the perfect balance of a delicious restaurant on the island!
We stayed at Captain Pips. Came to Porky's and had a bucket of local beers and the BBQ Pork Fried Roll. Great service. AND the roll was amazing. Smoked pork in a sushi roll, coleslaw, BBQ sauce, wasabi, soy. All worked great together. Thanks to Gage our bartender.
Andrew was an excellent server and had great recommendations for us. The food was killer; we got the spider roll, full snapper, and island chicken fingers. Everything was fresh and delicious!
Great food, excellent happy hour and the best mojito. Service by Stewart was fantastic. Thank you!
