I’ve eaten Williamson Bros BBQ in the past for lunch/dinner, but never had it catered. We had a small family gathering and let’s just say their catering did not disappoint! Ordering was extremely easy and they answered all questions I had especially regarding gluten free items. When I got there to pick it up it was all ready to go and still extremely hot when I got it back to serve! Obviously it was delicious, but it’s Williamson Bros so that’s a no brainer! Would easily recommend them for a catering event. Thank you again, Canton location!
Probably the best barbecue I have ever had. The sides are fantastic too. Being able to sit there and watch the meat be smoked is really really cool as well. I couldn’t recommend this place enough!
This place rocks, the service is amazing, the food is amazing and all I can do is tell you this place is amazing! Besides I got a free bottle of barbecue sauce a take home with me lol just you being a first time customer I think that's really nice of them to think that way!

Never ate at any of the locations. We don't have them near me. But I was introduced to the BBQ sauce they have packaged for retail sold at Kroger's. Never been much on a vinegar style sauce. But this stuff knocked my socks off. I love it and keep in fridge all the time. Went to my favorite steak house for my B'day lunch this week and carried me a container for to use on my steak. Dang this is good stuff. Move over A-1 you have been replaced
I think it’s the best barbecue in Atlanta. Food and service is great. I’ve had it catered and just as good.
Their classic Carolina style BBQ sauce is the best I have ever had from a jar! I get mine at Kroger. Love it!
From a girl who grew up in the bbq capital of NC I was pleasantly surprised at how amazing everything is on the menu. A regular lunch day for me now that I live in Ga.
Solid. They serve pretty good meat, their sauces are good, but they make the best fried pickles. And the sauce they serve with them is amazing. I could do some damage on those pickles.
Back and forth. If the restaurant has one, ongoing problem, it's inconsistency. Sometimes the pork is melt-in-your-mouth tender, other times it's rubbery and practically inedible. It's reasonably priced, and when it's good - it's a great value. If you're trying this location for the first time, remember 2 things. Order pulled pork, not chopped pork. If it's rubbery - SEND IT BACK.
Or do as I do and order the AYCE for about $1.50 more. If some of my pork is rubbery, I simply ask for more and I pick and choose what I want to eat. The AYCE also includes all you can eat of all of the side dishes. The steak fries, baked beans, and slaw are above average. Williamson puts one sauce on the table, but several other bbq sauces are available by request. I like the Carolina sauce, the chipotle sauce, and the garlic sauce better than the "table sauce".
This isn't Fox Brothers, by any measure. But it's reasonably priced, it has ample parking, and the AYCE is less than 12 bucks.
Lucky stumble. We passed a sign for WBBBQ on the way to Alabama and wanted to stop to try it. We didn't have time on our trip but it's been on our list. When we went to the Chick-fil-a kick off game we found their stand in the Georgia Dome. Awesome sandwich (which the girl helping us happily added peppers and onions to from their sausage and peppers) Sandwich was HUGE and wonderful. Made my day!
I like their Brunswick stew but the BBQ is nothing special to me. I prefer pulled chicken and pork as opposed to the chopped that they serve.
Worth a visit.... This is the only local Ga BBQ place that understands how BBQ should be done....great job Williamson Bro, I was starting to think the only thing local and eatable here were boild peanuts
Never a Bad Visit!. On a night out for my mother's birthday, we decided to surprise her and take her to the home of her FAVORITE dessert (the chocolate pie, of course!). Wesley was our waitress and the service could not have been better. The timing of the ordering and food delivery was right on the money. Refills on drinks were plentiful and she was attentive but not hovering in the least.
All of the food was excellent (WIDE variety at our table - everything from the grilled chicken wrap, chopped chicken salad, pulled pork/chicken platter, cole slaw, and the most superb hush puppies). On a secret "trip to the bathroom", I told the waitress that it was mom's birthday and she lined up a piece of pie for her. Will definitely return and highly recommend!!!
Meh.... Can't go so far as to say I don't like it, but I was far from impressed. Food was just okay, service was mediocre. No reason to go back. IMHO...Shane's is better.
Good solid BBQ. I like the sauce at Williamson Brothers. Their smoked tuna dip is delicious. Their meat can be dry at times....the quality is not consistent. I like going there. I prefer BIg Shanty BBQ. You will do well going to Williamson Brothers.
Though not the best Q in Atlanta metro, it's pretty darn good. Been a regular for 15+ years. Love the pork plate (outside bark-crispy) and the onion rings. Believe or not, the cat fish is superb as well as the burgers. Their Cole slaw is great, but their Brunswick stew is so watered down that it's like soup. I still highly recommend this place... Service is quite good, too.
I like it. Best when it'Coldweller outside so that you appreciate all the open ovens. There house BBQ sauce is tops. They have another place in Cherokee equally good.
Really Good BBQ. They have delicious BBQ, cornbread, & banana pudding. Plus, their BBQ sauce is awesome- definately buy some before you leave :)
Cozy setting with great Q. Good portions and the sauce is lip smacking good. Go hungry and be sure to check out the smokin' going on in the pits!
I'm always up to try a new BBQ place and it's tough to disappoint me. I tried the nachos with pork. It was unlike most BBQ nachos I've had, but it was good. The pork had a crispy edge. The cheese was melted shredded cheese and I prefer the nacho cheese variety. The spouse had the BBQ sandwich and a side of mac and cheese He liked the sandwich, but said the mac and cheese did not seem baked, as described, but more like a boxed version.

Good, but not as good as others. I have eaten here several times and I always leave very full, but like I just had an average meal, nothing special. Tonight I tried the onion rings everyone raves about. They were ok, but I honestly would rather have a few small rings than 2 giant ones with a massive breading. Brunswick stew is pretty good, and the meat has a good flavor. I swear they put A-1 in their sauce. A far cry from Sonny's, but still far below Community in Decatur or Fox Brothers in Little 5.
One of my top three. Always good flavor. Pork AYCE is super. Best onion rings - they are huge. Ask for meat without sauce and season to taste. All sides are delicious.
Always a Delicious Choice. Great restaurant consistently and love the fall off the bone ribs. Sometimes the service is lacking but the food makes up for it. If you want delicious BBQ, this is the place to go. It's very casual attire, which is nice when the eating gets messy! :)
The Best BBQ. I love Williamson Bros BBQ. The meat is so fresh, and the sides are great. I am never disappointed when I go here!
You Know It's Great BBQ When Everything Is Sticky. Yep, floors, walls, ceilings, seats. All sticky, plus you can see the fire pit when you walk in. It's dark, a bit smoky, and worth it.
It's good BBQ. Not great. Go if you can't get to Harolds.
Love the food.... So the place is dark, and dreary. But the pork and other food is great. Take some sauce home with you. Well worth the price, ask for the all you can eat it's only a buck more..
The ribs are smokey and flavorful. Not hugely high quality but certainly edible. Pulled pork is as good as any I’ve had as is the chicken. Not dry or overly seasoned. Nice balance on all three counts.
It was ok. It certainly wasn’t my favorite BBQ place I have ever been. I wouldn’t mind if I was served food from here again, but it’s not going to be my first choice.
I’ve had plenty of turkey legs at Renaissance Festivals over the past 25 years or so, and I’ve yet to have a turkey leg as good as the one the brothers were serving this day. The difference was that the turkey was smoked, and the smoked flavor came through clearly in the meat.
