Probably some of THE best sashimi I’ve ever had. The fish was so soft and fresh. The spicy tuna roll was incredible, the rice was sticky and the fish was tasty and soft. They seemed short staffed so the service was pretty slow that evening but they were super apologetic and nice about it. Delicious
Come here for quality sushi in a very casual atmosphere. Friendly staff. Nice specials and a lot of seafood sourced from Japan, and the price is reasonable considering (not cheap but reasonable). Will be back!

I came on a Thursday night and while it was quiet, I was greeted immediately and sat immediately. The waiters and staff are very polite and attentive! I sat at the sushi bar and was fortunate enough to meet Gyu, one of the sushi chefs.

Very decent place. It has a bit of no frills look, but the service is excellent. The owner is there to greet you and seat you. Karage chick was yummy but we had to ask for a fun dipping sauce. Monk fish liver was delightful, but spendy compared to some of our other west side favorites.

Update 2022: We returned almost 3 years later and it is still our favorite sushi restaurant here. The service is truly extraordinary. Taka is wonderful and takes the time to talk to his customers. All of our food was incredible. It's worth every penny.

Hands down my favorite sushi on the westside. Moto always has a fresh selection of daily specials, and the quality of the fish is in matched. Ken is the chef behind the bar most nights, it’s very fun to watch him work. Be sure to try the fresh scallops, the chawanmushi, and the chu toro.
