Go for the turtle racing 🏁 🐢
The MC was hilarious - maybe a bit borderline on the jokes, but he was great. It's hilarious to see how excited people get for turtle racing. Get there early to get a good spot, or you won't be able to see. There's several tables near the ring, but also bleachers to stand on.
The only thing about this place was one of the bartenders. We didn't want to start a tab, but he did anyways, then proceeded to ignore us when we wanted to clarify. We had to get several bartenders involved to close our tab.

Solid Irish boozer with decent Guinness for this side of the pond. Lots of seating options including a sheltered patio with outdoor screens. Great for game day. Haven’t been to the turtle racing or eaten here but everybody’s meals looked good. A great Sunday afternoon choice.

Came to Brennan’s last week since before corona and it’s always a treat. The patio is enormous and the drinks are reasonably priced. The food on the other hand is your standard bar food except the pizza. The pizza is damn good.
I got the boneless hot wings and loaded tots this time and neither were anything outstanding but for the wings you get a LOT. Not sure if they have happy hour right now but that’s always a good deal and great time to come. The bartenders are awesome and harshly over worked so be kind and tip them well! Now go get some sun on that darn patio.

The best damn pizza! and perfect spot to head to after a friend flies into LAX in the afternoon and you want to avoid all traffic - just post up here - the servers are laid back and kind. They have pool and darts and different events every single night! Veggie Pizza is where its at!

Brennan’s is my favorite bar in Los Angeles for the following reasons:
1. Large patio with plenty of seating options
2. Corn hole on above mentioned patio
3. Designated parking lot & plenty of street parking on Lincoln
4. Friendly bartenders & bouncers
5. Great variety of beverages, including an array of my current bar favorite, hard seltzers in cans
6. Nostalgic - they’ve been there for 50 years!
7. Takes holidays seriously and knows how to throw a solid theme party - the best place for St. Patrick’s Day hands down
8. They welcome sporting leagues, such as Club Waka kickball after the games on Wednesday nights
9. They take good care of their turtles
10. They’re dog friendly in the outdoor area 🐾

It was cool to see the turtle races and comical with all the rules. Only thing is it was so packed this lady from Pennsylvania hit my friend on the head because he was tall and sitting in the front. Ridiculous! Drinks and pizza was delicious. Lots of board games, tables, outside space, and games. Plus the turtles were treated well.

My first visit since the reopening! Place looks good just not sure who their customer base is...SPD was lotsa young people and it was extremely busy! I drive-by and I have not seen their parking lot full in the evenings which leads me to believe that people are not going there to have dinner. My best times at Brennans was for the music/dancing then the bar food/ reasonable priced drinks and (twice )attended the turtle races!! I might do a HH but not sure if I’d go here just for drinks and dinner unless the reviews get better! I miss the music and dancing...so few places to get out and enjoy that scene on the west side!!

Came for lunch, it was beautiful out in the back patio and we got pizza’s, salad and the chicken dish with chickpeas, which was incredibly delicious! The staff went out of their way to make us comfortable. We’ll be back for turtle races!! Thanks for being accommodating to our group, William.

The new look is great. Still feels like Brennan's, but all a bit nicer. The fire place is cool, the patio looks like a great spot to have a drink and I love the new turtle enclosure.

the update is great! i love how a beer costs $6.57 now! very convenient for paying with cash! i also love how none of the regular beers or liquors i would like to drink are available! also i love the removal of the sexist turtle rules! turtle racing is definitely geared towards us people who like fancy, and not towards a bunch of drunks who just want something to scream at! i am glad you spent all the time and money fixing a bar that was already crowded!

Great atmosphere , friendly bartenders, and very good live bands in Thursday , Friday , and Saturday nights ! Difficult to find good live bands anymore . Room to dance and room to roam . Huge outdoor area to enjoy the ocean air or play a few games . Very down to earth people and comfortable place !

I have been to the newly redesign and refurnished Brennan's Pub a few times since it was remodeled by new owners but still using the well established name. I will say that it much cleaner and more attractive than the old Brennan's. The food is good but expensive and highbrow, most of my friends ask me for an explanation of what it is they're thinking of ordering and the pronunciation lf the items on the menu. They also seem to be understaffed as the wait times at the bar and for you food order seem to be lengthy. On my visits to the bar I have discovered that they do not stock the normal, traditional, brands of liquor but instead what I surmise the new management thinks are high end brands unknown by most of us commoners. I think they would do themselves a favor if they came back down to earth and gave their customers what they want rather than what they think will make them trendy. It is after all in Marina Del Rey not Beverly Hills or the French Riviera. If you're looking for yuppy food and expensive booze so you can be a snob you'll enjoy your visit.

First time there. We absolutely loved it the food and service was excellent. The atmosphere was to die for. Its home away from home, I felt like I was in the pub in Denver. To top it off 93.5 was there giving away prizes and gift cards when you played their games set up in the back after the game. I am telling all my BRONCO COUNTRY fans its a must to go there.

Thursday's is turtle racing. It's a great thing to do on a date. It's something different. The band is pretty good too and the bartenders are down to earth.
